Blanket the earth in eucalyptus blue and the edge of katoomba will be staring back at you. Found my way out of the city Only to get Lost in the country The city of Sydney slipped out from under my feet and the sirens, skyscrapers, and strangers faded into last weekend. Just North of the city I found Oz's calming version of a Yanks New Hampshire- full of outdoor wonder to explore virtually at the cost of nothing. The landscape was full of horses, cows, windy dirt roads and junkyard lawns. The Blue Mountains National Park had much to offer a group of tourists. I arrived in beaultiful sunny cairns on 05 june 08 after traveling a little under an entire day. cars, planes, buses and boats whatever it takes to get where your going Having gotten to sydney after a 13.5 hour flight, I'm again sitting in an airport surrounded by white-washed cynderblock walls and darkened cloudy windows. All I want to do is breathe fresh air, and maybe have an edible meal. The next three hour flight to the Cairns orientation was hectic. The plane got delayed, the weather was bad and in turn so was the turbulence, at the time I thought my ears had never popped so badly.
