Ocean World

During our adventure here in Korea, we took our family to Ocean World. It is part of the Famous Vilvaldi Park. Ocean World operates all year long because it has an indoor and out door facilities. The Outdoor facility opens during the early summer season and ends in autumn. However, the indoor facility is always open and it has an Egyptian Theme. You will find many hot spas with different temperatures and different minerals added to the hot tubs. Even during the middle of winter, they have the heated outdoor spas over looking beautiful scenic terrain. They have different temperature settings for the different pools and you can choose your comfortable temperature settings. Dr. Fish Cafe

If you ever visit Seoul, South Korea; you must shop by Dr. Fish Cafe and enjoy a foot pedicure. The cost is $2.00 or 2,000 won, but the catch is you have to buy a cup of Coffee. The price of coffee is the same as starbucks, but you get to eat all the fresh bake bread that you want. The bread comes straight out of the oven, so becareful and let it cool down a little. For the price of $2.00 or 2,000won, you get a foot pedicure for 15 minutes. The pedicure consist of a whole bunch of small fishes eating the dead skin off you feet. Since we arrived here in Korea, we have been sampling different types of Korean dishes. Each Restaurant creates their unique flavor and taste. The Korean dishes have different colors of food which they believe it provides nourishment to the soul. Take for example, a bell pepper will served in different colors to include green, yellow, red and orange. But the most important fact is that it tastes wonderful. Every Korean dish is served with rice and kimchee. The restaurants will also serve you a variety of side dishes that will sooth your taste. Everyone shares the side dishes and you can get as much as you want. When you order hot and spicy food, make sure to ask for mild, because if you don’t, you will be served at full strength. Seoul Tower

Seoul Tower is located on Mt.Namsan, near Myeong-dong and other downtowns. We climb up to the Seoul Tower from the Hyatt hotel. It was a hot day but in the end it was well worth it because the view was breath taking. We took some pictures at the base of the tower as well as on top of the Tower. It had a 360 degree view of the entire city of Seoul. At the base of the tower offered a lot of entertainment. They had a concert with live bands and performances as well as fire works. We took a few moment to have an artist paint a picture of us. Taking a picture would have only took a second, but because the artist had so much talent, we could not pass up the opportunity. Dr. Fish Pedicure

We adventured to Dr. Fish cafe and ordered a large latte. We were amazed how the small fishes ate the dead skin from our feet. It is an experince you must have while you visit South Korea. The small fishes tickled our feet and gave us a wonderful pedicure.... read more



Nami Island

This summer, we took my family of 11 to Nami Island with the Hannam Village Church. The guys went to the Paint ball range and the girls and Laban went to Nami Island. Although we experienced torrential rain, we had a wonderful time. We travelled by bus from Seoul and caught a ferry to Nami Island. The girls had a blast on the ferry.
