Back from Holland, nice to be there, and what a wealthy country it is. Think most of the Dutch people don't realise that .
Have been, ages ago, a month under the vulcano (Etna) Enjoyed the period over there.

Wat een reis ben je aan het maken.Ongelooflijk wat je allemaal moet regelen, improviseren en ook nog reizen.Fascinerend om al die landen steden te zien en zoveel mensen te spreken. Heftig, het probleem met de schoonvader van je zoon.Hopelijk gaat het weer beter.
Ik wens je een interessant sluitstuk van de reis en behouden thuiskomst.

Next week we go to the Netherlands for Dana is going to do a sailing course; because I mean every dutch girl, and also boys, need to know the basics of sailing!
Although we normaly deliberate this kind of decisions, but she was not realy amused to do this; so I decided. but I'm shure that within a splitsecond she will enjoy.

Voor mij was Sicilie eigenlijk meer de reis naar Malta.Ik ben in Messina geweest leuke stad natuurlijk veel kerken.Palermo heb ik alleen maar geslapen maar volgende week ben ik in Catania en ga o.a. met een treintje rond hoe heet die Vulkaan, Etna?Maar het is zeker de moeite van een trip waard kom hier touristen tegen die echt 3 weken bezig zijn het is een mooi groot eiland en heeft natuurlijk een verleden waarin nogal wat gebeurd is.Heb nog geen familie van Tony Soprano ontmoet

An other day I met a dutch lady in France, she is experienced in foreign languages. She told me that Frech students with a University degree in English, compared with dutch students with English in their study "pakket" on HAVO llevel are speaking English much better as their French University degreed colleagues !!
In the meantime we know of the deception Spain/Holland hope the beer was Heineken and could help you a bit feeling not to bad.

That's a real worry Hai Bert,
Makes you feel a rich man ,in many ways, if you see young people who can't spend enough money to buy a complete bikini set. That's a real worry.
by the way i did n't know that theter was a reletion between espresso and cholestorol, only know the relation with the nerves.

Recomendation Spain is really nice country and its not useless to travel around it. There are so many nice place to see. My favorite lpaces are Barcelona, Valencia and Granada so I would like to recomend you these. People whou are coming are searching accomodation depands on price and quality. I tryed several hostels but now i would change. So i recommend staying in Hostels Barcelona
reisverslag Hoi Bert, Leuk je reisverslag weer te kunnen volgen. Ik zag dat je nogal een poosje onderweg zal zijn dus voorlopig zien we elkaar niet (had het er kortgeleden nog met Wim over). Jammer dat je niet meer van Marseille hebt kunnen zien; wij waren er zaterdag twee weken geleden als laatste plaats tijdens onze cruise over de Middellandse Zee. Met een treintje een heel mooie rit gemaakt langs het water en toen naar boven de berg op waar de kerk Notre Dame de la Garde staat; prachtige kerk en schitterend uitzicht. In Ajaccio waren we vorig jaar ook tijdens een cruise; ook een mooie stad en je komt er uiteraard Napoleon tegen. Je zult vast nog veel moois zien; geniet er van! Groetjes, Toos
In my previous life I worked for a more or less big company. Since about 8 years travelling is one of the things I try to do as much as possible.
Every year I try to make at least one big trip by train. I did already the Orient expres route in normal trains, all the trains in Australia.
Around Scandinavia and last year around UK.
In 2009 I made a trip from Faro till Singapore by train and the only country I had to take a bus was Cambodia
