So nice... I prefer not to think about the so many small villages I missed when I was in your country. That´s a very good excuse to go back... Love from Argentina. Graciela.
Drum making Drums everywhere relate the respective traditons brought down from generation to generation. Only Meterials locally obtained such as wood, lether etc. can sound the unique drumbeats. I hope Mr.Khang family will preserve the craftsmanship forever.
Congratulations! Congratulations on your new role as Moderator for TravelBlog! Also for having a brand new camera!
Sad to hear you will not be traveling much next year; we will surely miss your wonderful blogs!

Great photos with the new camera! A very interesting blog. On our next visit I would like to see a fish sauce factory to learn how it is made. We hope your knee is better now.
photos Thanks for the very interesting photos and helpful information about the island. I do hope the international airport and casino will not spoil the island. Very bad luck about your knee - hope it is getting better

Thanks for sharing the bloig and photos, it would have been great to be in Hanoi for htis celebration. Many of our friends in Hanoi shared photos with us of this event and we were very happy it was such a great celebration. Take care.
great photos I'm so pleased to see these photos of the celebrations. I was thinking of Hanoi on the 10th October (also my birthday). I've alo always wanted to see inside the citadel, so it's great to see those photos too.
Thanks so much.
interesting place Thanks HaHong. It sounds like a beautiful place. Maybe I'll get the chance to go there next visit. I love the way you come up with all theses different places around Hanoi, and give interesting information about them.
familiar places I love these photos. They are familiar places but I've often wondered what some of these buildings are, especially the government guesthouse. thanks for sharing them. Great to know you went to that school that I've passed so often.
great photos Good to see those old photos. Trang Tien street is very recognisable although there's a lot of building going on there recently- I hope it doesn't change too much. I was also interested to see the citadel; I'm always trying to have a look in there. I wish I was able to be in hanoi for the anniversary.
Thanks Hong Ha
