We are now in Goa!!! In some respects it is exactly what I thought it would be and in others it is still quite traditional. We are in the far north in Arunbol, a place that is full of long haired, drealocked g string wearing yoga loving vegetarian misfits!! I have the idea some people come here to visit and never leave again they also never shave or have a haircut again!! It has its charm and the beaches are lovely and we have eaten some of the best food we have had in India but it is a little to western for me! Our first taste of India was Delhi, an amazing city but so polluted even inside the airport you have smog!! despite this it is a very interesting city with so much to take in. A mixture of richness and poverty, colour, noise and all sorts of smells!!! We had 3 days in delhi and visited the Red Fort, and had interesting walks around the back streets into the more residential areas, one thing that stirkes me hard is that we have a life of comforts and luxuries but little time for eachother, but here they have so little in the respect of materialistic things but are so much richer than us westerners in other ways. ... read more
