Hi Everyone, Nate and I are in Ho Chi Minh City after a painless 6-hour bus journey from Phnom Penh. We're staying at the Chau Long Guest House, which was recommended by Lonely Planet, and it's really good. For $12 a night we get A/C, fan, TV, minifridge, and ensuite with hot shower. They're also doing all our laundry for $2, which is really nice because we've been doing it ourselves so far in our guesthouse sinks, and everything wasn't really getting very clean. We're in a really good location, too, down Minihotel Alley, which is filled with cheap guesthouses and a bunch of little restaurants and shops. We had a really good meal tonight at Asian Kitchen, which we chose for it's giant menu and cheap prices (and because it was recommended in Lonely Planet).
