Happy Thanksgiving from Hue!

Hi Everyone,

We just want to wish everyone back home a Happy Thanksgiving! We made a little video, but the computers in Hue are horrible and even on their most advanced machine I couldn't upload it!

We arrived safely in Hue this morning and are staying at the Mimosa Guesthouse, which is down a little alley by the river. We had our Thanksgiving Dinner tonight at the most Western Restaurant we could find - an Italian one! The food was great and homey, so it definitely hit the spot. Tomorrow we are doing a motorcycle tour of Hue which looks like it should be good.

For those of you who may have heard of Typhoon Lekima, we have been lucky so far and have not been effected. If you haven't heard of it, it's a massive typhoon that hit Vietnam's north and central coasts earlier this week, causing at least 70 deaths and the worst flooding in Vietnam in over 20 years. Right now we are still south of the effected area. The typhoon has passed, but now flooding and disease are rampant in the area just to the north of us. We have been monitoring the progress, and we won't be heading north to Hanoi until we are sure it is safe. Needless to say, we are definitely thankful to have missed this disaster.

Aside from that, everything has been great and we have had a fantastic time so far. We hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgivings. Have some turkey for us!
