Great Report Hi Jake,
Thanks for keeping us up to date. Sounds like you are making real progress. Keep up the good work-it is a valuable experience. Would love to visit you but are trips to Mexico are finished except I would love to make one more trip to our microcredit project in Navajo. You can look at our web site at Grameendelafrontera.org. It is doing extremely well. Are there any microcredit projects in Puebla? If so would you find out who is operating them. Also thanks for the photos. they really help understanding the culture.
Much love,
Ed
new haircut Hi Jake,
It's good to hear you had the courage to cut your hair. You usually have to be "mainstream" to get the best jobs and I want you to have the money to buy a motorbike so when I visit we can cruise around. Your room looks very nice, but yes, you do need a few posters for the walls. I will send you a few bucks and your contact lenses.
Google Hi Jake,
Great to hear from you. Go for it! give us your address and we will bring it up on Google World.
We leave for Minn on Thursday.-will miss you.
Much love,
ed
Hi Jake
Thanks for the blog and email. I am so glad you are doing well. You could cut your hair if ya need to for a job. Just save the hair and we can get it to locks for love somehow. I think it needs to go into a plastic baggie. I have been working tons of days still out in the western suburbs, 3rd or 4th ring, the places that used to be small farming communities. Steve and I went to Inga Peterson's grad party yesterday..
We talked about you , were your ears burning? I love you.
Mom
Good luck hi Jake,
Nice to hear from you and Good luck on your quest for work! We are expecting Peter and Ricky this weekend and will probably send them to the beach with bogie boards.
Much love,
Ed
Hi Hi Jacob,
I saw your blog and was very interested in finding more about Chile. I'm Bulgarian but I really love Spain and all the Latin-American countries since I've been studying Spanish for 5 years now. I would really want to visit Chile and Mexico and Peru,as well. I've already been in Spain and I loved it there. Hope to get a chance to go to Latin America :) Great pictures as well!
Obama It was mostly a comedy at the end. Sarah Palin was mocked by every comedian and one looked just like her. He won easily, but I can't say I felt the enthusiam from my bus riders. We need money in our pockets and good jobs, and those don't take place overnight. Still....we are on the right track, but I need to get on the right track.
I will be working ten hours on thanksgiving! Yuck...probably an empty bus too. Diane and Joe are taking me out to breakfast though...I think Tyler has a Phd and is teaching philosohy at Berkley.
I am strong as an Ox...my Anytime fitness membership requires me to go 12 times a month or forfiet $20...
God bless Jake, be safe...love you more than you know.
Dad.
excitement at home Hi Jake,
Always nice to her from you and that all is going well. As you guessed we are all very excited over the election results and we are hoping for better things in the next four years. I have been struggling with a heart problem and will go to the Mayo clinic the week of Nov 16th. We are here most of the time so give us a call on SKYPE.
Much love,
Ed
I think you're better at this blogging thing than I was, keep it up...dude I swam in those hot springs too, way chilly! Well, probably the same ones, I do remember it was at an ungodly hour in the morning...what were they called?
tourism... Hi Jake,
I don't even know if the millionares will be able to travel anymore...students and homeless and elderly on my bus....
Sydney and I went to the north shore yesterday....skipped lots of rocks...a beautiful fall day. The colors are at peak in Beaver Bay, MN.
Send us you mailing address...maybe we will send you a digital camera. Syd is 15 tomorrow! She is having a great year, and talked to Mona yesterday.
Miss you and love you,
Dad
Wow! I so admire and love Pablo Neruda's writings - have read many of his. They are some of the most wonderful I have read, especially his poetry. Did you know he took his name from a famous Czech poet named Neruda? I was on a very main historic street named Nerudarova, in Prague in June during my trip with the community band. Pablo's Memoirs is a wonderful book about his fascinating life. This reminds me that I'd like to read the Czech Neruda, too. What an interesting experience you are having, Jake. Love, Aunt Carol
Sounds like fun! Hi Jake,
Sounds like fun and an exhausting trip. We appreciate your blog and encourage you to keep it up. Tell us a little bit about your school and how it compares with St John's. We are both well. will go to Church today and pick up TG at the airport after church. He will be here tonight. Yesterday we went to a political rally and heard Al Gore. He is very impressive and he sure would have made a good President.
Much love,
Ed
Classes HI jake,

Is it tough to handle in Spanish and how are you doing with the language. We are well and love to enjoy the sights of the country with you>I have been following it on the map.
