Europe for the First Time

I had a brief vacation planned for Spring Break in New York and Atlantic City and then I lost my job unexpectedly on 1/31/2013. Some people would see this as a bad thing. I quickly discovered 6 weeks was just enough time to sell everything (possessions, home, car, etc.), cash out, and hit the road for a serious adventure.

I have never been to Europe. Who among us Americans can call ourselves cultured without seeing artwork and buildings older than the western discovery of our continent?

I hope this trip educates me, hones my expectations in future living, exposes me to the world without the American media, and does nothing short of change my life.
