Woke up in the morning and decided to leave Bangkok and find the sea. So avoiding the deluge of taxi and tuk tuk drinvers that accosted me due to the sight of a backpack I hopped on the riverboat and joined the BTS at Central Pier again. This took me to Ekkamai bus station where the first beach bound bus was headed to Pattaya So I pay 124 baht and with just enough time to grab a bottle of water for the journey we were off. After a couple of hours arrived at the bus station in Patts and jumped on a baht bus. When i saw the beach and millions of small bars I jumped out. Landed st BKK sirport feeling stiff sore and uncomfortable after having to put up with the inconsiderate man in front of me who reclined his seat fully on take off and stayed that way until landing apart for the kind 30mins he allowed me to eat my lunch. My luggage was also the second from last out on the carousel- now i remember why i usually just take hand baggage Found someone to share cab with in taxi queue so dropped off outside KC guesthouse. rOOM BASic but clean and owners very friendly. Dropped my bits off, had a quick shower and headed out looking for food. Managed to get on my train after a quick pint in the Railway. No issues getting to Harwrch and easily checked in and embarkred the ferry. Had a miniture cabin with bathroom TV etc. Dumped my stuff there and then made my way to the bar below for a cider. Was pretty tired so thought would head for an early night. Bunk was quite comfy but woken 3 times in the night with the ship rolling around in rough seas- must've been bad as was a huge ship so usually wouldnt feel a thing Anyway arroved at Hoek of Holland on time, left the boat and went to get train.
