When I read your comment I get to know, that there are many parts of Europe, you know much better than me.
Soon you will pass Bilbao. This is the town, where the daughter in law of the Luedke, our friends (you will meet again, when you will visit us )was raised.

So long! Dear Janice (and Bob),
We did not have the time to go and visit Tsamaya last Satruday. So we felt sorry on Sunday when we discovered the USA flag was not waving anymore over Cangas marina masts...
Best of luck, fair winds, see you out there...

It looks almost Caribbean there! Beautiful beaches and great markets. Wish we were there to enjoy it with you - or, wish you were still here to enjoy the beaches and markets with us! It's great to see what you're seeing - keep up the great blogs.
Thanks for explaining things... to us landlubbers. I find all this nautical detail fascinating. However, Linda will never let me sail again after our near hurricane event in the Virgin Islands. Even canoes on lakes are out ask far as she is concerned.
sorry to hear Sorry to hear as we seem to enjoy being near the water - even when we have had to go through some rough times, it is satisfying to know that you can handle it. Best wishes to you and thanks for following us - glad you have enjoyed it!
Hi from your faithful TB Follower... I'm looking forward to reading about this season's travels. I visited the Baltics and Helsinki in April. Not a good time to visit weather wise...if I was a sailor I would have known that! But I didn't have a choice...it was tacked on to my trip from Beijing to Bukhara along the Silk Road...and that had the priority on weather which was delightful. Anyway, have a great season...and I appreciate your blogging efforts.
THANKS Bob & Janice.....was really great to meet you and hope to stay in contact. Your blog is VERY well done....gives us inspiration to do one ourselves!
Homw Sweet Home We read all your comments, nice to know you were closer in body and spirit over the Holidays. We have had too much snow and ice to our liking, more than 1 day is too much! We had a great Christmas, enjoyed your family pictures and others. Take Care in your travels. Love Kate and Gary ps if you are around this July 13 there will be a 60th birthday party, Garys in charge, as it is his party! Your invited!
Sailor Right from the beginning you named her right! Little did she know she would become a sailor. She had a very venturous life. Much more then most cats and much more then most of us! She was the smallest most petite cat, but had a big presence in your life. For sure she is in kitty- cat heaven having a good time and remembering all her good times with you! ,
Thanks for keeping your blog up... your means of conveyance allows you access to more unusual, out of the way places that are fascinating...and I love your photography. How long do you plan to be sailing?
Wow Hey folks good for you. I only have disapointment that I was in St Martin when you were there and we did not get together. I was there for a month getting my 200 ton Unlimited ticket. BnG is still in Florida waiting our return. Congradulations on your crossing. Miss you both
Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal. It's time to sell the house, get rid of whatever doesn't fit on our 40 foot Caliber LRC named Tsamaya (this means Travel Well in Setswana) and set off to see the world. Our reasons for publishing this blog is twofold, first to keep in touch with our friends and family and secondly to share our experiences. If you would like to receive notification when we have added ... full info
