looking forward to having you home soon!!!
Yay....Buenos Aires I heard all about the match 'el classico' right? Sounds like an amazing experience, minus the spit as that's just gross. Loved reading the blog so keep it up for the last few weeks and hope you love BA as much as I did; shame the rest of Argentina wasn't so fun for you though. xx
We did a tour with Edgar, their office is on the main street and they were really good. Didn't find any good hostels in Puno, but I heard Brothy is nice, so maybe try there. Have a good time!
Titicaca company Hello!
Sounds amazing!
Could you recommend your titicaca tour company or any places to stay in puno? Much appreciated! Headed that way from La Paz myself
Almost - I was meant to be spending my birthday in Mexico, but Mexico got cancelled, with Hawaii as a replacement. But, we're doing all of South America first, and then going to Hawaii for 2 weeks before coming home. Manaus wasn't too bad when we were there, no sweating at night, just a giant frog in the room!
Yeh, I stayed in Miraflores in Lima and Hostel Salvatierra in Huacachina - had the BBQ across the road and some Pisco sours too :) Leaving at 6am tomorrow to get the train part of the way up, and then trekking the last 10km - eeeek!! Pray for sunshine
I thought you were spending your b-day in Hawaii- what happened? Ahh the Amazon- so much fun! Did you not find Manaus stifling hot- I was sweating at night time- just wrong. xx
I'm so jealous-bring back memories!!! OMG- this is basically my trip, but we did macchu picchu before huacachina.
Memories!! Lima is so crazy- did you go to Miraflores?- its basically like Piccadily circus and i recommend going to the cinema in peru its ridiculously cheap- like the equivalent of 1 pound and good film selection.
Where did you stay in Haucachina? How are you getting to cusco and Machu Picchu? Train or t
Don't waste your time in Hawaii. Never again. Just got back from Honolulu. The most racist, rude, HOMELESS place I've ever vacationed at. Was staying in Kapolei on Oahu when the power went out due to a storm. Wouldn't you know it, they only have ONE electric company there, and, CONVENIENTLY, their thug union workers went out on strike right at the time of the power outage. Our entire vacation was ruined, without any power all weekend. Still had no power when we cut-short our vacation. Overall, we encountered extreme rudeness and racist, reverse discrimination, slurs and insults. Oh, and if you are in Honolulu, get ready to have to walk in the streets because the homeless have more priority camping out on the sidewalks than you.
Review Hi,
You have done a Great job. You are so lucky to participate in skydive. Very rare people have such courage. I appreciate your courage. It’s not a joke to float over the sky for 45 minutes. You had done this and finally landed safely with parachute. I am very interested in this sport and after reading your experience I am very much eager to be a part of this sport. Thanks for sharing and keep updating us with such thrilling experience. Take Care.

I had clothes made too Your outit is awesomes!! You look very seventies with your tailored pants...have you seen the film boogie nights? You look like Heather Graham in that.
I had a winter coat made and a long dress, they are sooooo cool....didn't bother with shoes though, two of the girls had boots made over there and they looked meh, the girls were not happy. Can't believe they threatened the police on you!! Great story.

I've never had a gap year or gone travelling during long university holidays so I didn't think that a round the world trip would be something I'd be even considering. But after a year working in a PR job I loved I couldn't ignore the craving which had developed to experience more of the world and so off I set to see Asia, Australasia and South America. ... full info
