Making my dream come true in Lisbon, Portugal

For many years prior to my retiring on January 2, 2016, I had a dream that I kept imagining that I would accomplish once I retired. My dream was to travel to a foreign land, preferably somewhere I had never visited before. I wanted to stay long enough just in one place to live like a local. I imagined walking down to the same coffee shop each morning and being greeted by the mom and pop who owned the cafe and as they prepared my usual cappuccino, we would talk about the days events and catch up with each other. As I too hung my freshly washed laundry from my balcony, I would greet my neighbor and catch up with them as well. Today, my dream becomes reality.
