Hello there family and friends...i think this is going to be my last blog before i leave copenhagen since i only have about a week and a half left. Craaazy. This last weekend I went to Western Denmark on another study tour, this time by bus only and no ferry ride. =( hehe. jk. It was great fun because I'm getting to know the people more and more since we were on the last trip together too. My birthday was on Friday, the day I left for the trip, so i celebrated Friday night with some people here. I wish I could have taken a picture of it, but my professor and the intern got me a cake...well two humongous Danish pastries that could feed at least 30 people decorated with lots of little Danish flags. ... read more

hey guys! i got into denmark safely, and have had a great 3 weeks thus far. copenhagen is surprisingly small and mostly made up of old architecture within the city, but this last week has been the best. i just got back from an eight-day trip in finland and sweden. it was amaaazing, and there were a lot of "that's fake" moments. here was my itinerary: july 15- copenhagen to stockholm, sweden via bus ride and ferry. a night in the city turned out to be a night in a man-packed bar, led in by a group of guys who claimed they're in a snowboarding film...well my friends tried to convince me they were legit because they had flyers posted around town about them too, but i was still skeptical. july 16 - stockholm to turku, ... read more

a warm hello to everyone from way up north. =) i am in denmark and have officially started classes. i was in london for a few days before arriving here and had an amazing time. my professor hooked lisa and i up with a place to stay. we were very lucky to stay at such a beautiful place and pay almost nothing. my initial arrival in london was kinda confusing. we were able to take the express train from the airport, then get on the tube (underground train) and finally get off in the area my prof had told us to. from there, we got lost. after walking for about 20 minutes with a medium-sized suitcase, a daypack, and a backpack it was just a sign of things to come as far as the walking and ... read more
