As the title says, I'm rather excited! 6 days, and counting, until I'm out of Canberra again. Only for a scant 3 weeks this time, unfortunately, but it's still possible to fit a good chunk of itchy-feet-busting into that space of time! In 6 days, I will be en-route to Tokyo, Japan, with a short stopover in Beijing on the way, and a slightly longer one on the way back. I guess I should mention that I'm doing this blog a little strangely - I got home from my trip 6 months ago, and I never got around to actually posting the travel journal I was writing during that. I'm heading to Japan at the end of the year and wanted to be able to blog that, so I thought I might as well re-write, polish and post my writings from my Gap Year while I was at it. It's always strange to think that you won't be seeing the place that you call home for a good 6 months.
