My darling Mona holy cow ( you aren't going to India are u?) mom told me about your beach adventure! Bummer in the summer. Good thing u put serious stuff away and the loser only got your backpack and Canadian flag! Nonetheless such a stress hope u r ok. Wilf and I just got back from Hawaii! Oh my how much fun was that! He rocked and had a blast. He met Mai Tai the favorite drink! Too funny. Enjoy your warm weather it's only -27 here. We left 83 degrees to come to this ... Why? Miss u continue to have fun. We r going to Scott and margaret's for an unbirthday dinner on Saturday . Loving u Robbie

Hi Monica Glad to hear you're doing so well. I just made a largish batch of cookies and I MUST get them out of the house. Of course that made me think of you! But then again you probably are full from eating endangered penguins, and wouldn't have any room for cookies anyway.

dear mona and aly who knew the world had so many different kinds of blue? the pictures are amazing and then penguinos are so cute, were they stinky? friendly? quiet? what. so many questions you guys are amazing with your trekking and stories, glad there is technology to keep us posted and yes you are right, the boys have the map out and are following along be safe, be happy and remmember luv ya,, aunty robbie

Holy wow
Mona and aly what a wonderful venture rain sleet and sunshine all in one day sounds fab! We sit at -28 with snow and ice and ridiculous drivers bubi's bday tomorrow we will take her for dinner (Dom's also) enjoy and cherish your time away we miss u and luv u much aunty rob 's also)

Just read a few of your entries. It sounds like you are having a wonderful time - hopefully things have dried out. We have been busy shovelling and there is a major winter storm coming tonight. On the bright side, my cross-country skis and Jas have been getting a workout this winter. Jim can't wait to head south to Texas on the 20th. Enjoy the next leg of your journey and keep up the blog- we are enjoying hearing all about your adventure. Be safe-

It is -15C here this evening, uncharacteristicly cold for our "Carolinian" part of Ontario. Glad you arrived safely and are warm. Can't to get to the south fast enough. Tuesday last we took Grandma to MEC and got her some warm underware.....Love Aunt Sue
