So, he told me what you were up to - haven't talked to you in a while! Glad to hear about the bike trip. We were in Traverse City this summer for a little side trip after Brian's cousin's wedding in the UP. I am a newly converted fan of Northern MI (also camped at Pictured Rocks and climbed the dunes at Sleeping Bear, ate a vegetarian pastie). Keep in touch! KS |

Six new communities have come on board, making us want to be out in those towns all the time. (Can you tell that "cubical heaven" is an oxymoron? Emily will be working at the SOF full time come next Jan., so we have another person who will be working with us and the six new communities. I was in Minneapolis in Sept. talking with LOTS of folk about community food stuff... and using the community food profile. It was for the Grassroots and Commonground confernece sponsored by the Northwest Foundation in MN. So, how will you ever settle for living in-doors? I forsee a warm climate and lots of outdoor space for you two. S |
