Well, the flights went as well as we could have hoped. We´re on the ground safely in a great neighbourhood in the Providencia area of Santiago. Thanks to Matt and Mel Cherevaty for recommending a nice little hotel on a tree-lined street loaded with interesting shops and restaurants (and happy belated 4th birthday to Coleman Cherevaty too). Even with everything going very smoothly, it´s a tiring day. We dropped our bags at the hotel, got changed, and went for a walk to a nearby park loaded with scuptures. Pauline and Abbey are resting in our room, and I´m just back from a tour to see what´s in the neighbourhood. Bought tickets for the subway, and some fruit at the local supermarket.
