Hold your nose and jump! I love the photo of the lady holding her nose and her top as she jumps from the boat. Great shot! Looks like me when I jump into water!
Angkor Wat! Hi Christy
I'm still in Phnom Penh, I'm heading to Siem Reap tomorrow and I thought I should check your blog to see what I should expect :)
What a trip! Christy, I just wanted to say how much I've appreciated all the work you've put in updating this weblog. I've really enjoyed reading it- it let me feel like I got to come along with you on your travels (a little, at least). Have a safe voyage home!
Europe Travels Ejoyed your blog - Jill and I both loved Salzburg and Austria. Jill severly sprained her ankle in Salburg dancing in Mirabel gardens to the SOM. We stayed in a beautiful hostel in both Salzburg and Florence. In Munich we stayed in an old Castle a short train ride from town. They locked the doors every night until 7am. We had to jump out of a second story window to make our Early train out of town because they refused to open the doors.
You flew through Lithuania! My grandparents call it the "old country," but my granpa never fails to mention to me what a blessing it is to live in the US. Remind me to tell you about the problem with using horses in northern Russia during the winter.

Check you email! I'm sorry that you've been stuck in Hanoi and have had to miss some of your planned treks, but you still make the best of every minute. You're a good traveler.
By the way, check your email. I have a proposition.
Gees oh petes You're right when you say that for good traveling moments there will always be bad ones, but you write about them so well that in the end, it's all good! Thanks again for keeping us updated.
After three years of hiding deep in the mountains of Southern Japan I am finally on my way home. Only it’s the long way. With my house all boxed up, my car sold, and my backpack strapped up and ready to go - I’m off to see the world. This epic journey will begin in Malaysia and end in the UK around Christmas time. So, check up on me from time-to-time. Send me messages and leave me comments. I’ll be updating this site as often as possible. I'll be anxious to hear from all of you!... full info
