Glad you got to see it before we exit Thailand! I'm going to write a stern letter to Lonely Planet demanding that C-buri make it into the next edition.
You know, I was just thinking the same thing today. It's unfortunate that it wouldn't be convenient to just 'swing by' Chonburi so you could have a look. I will probably be taking some more pictures in the next week, though, and I will try to bottle up some of the exhaust smell to share with you when you get here!
I'm afraid living here may have turned us into irrevocable cheapskates. How will I ever go back to paying anything more than $10 for an hour massage (and $10 is almost too expensive here!!)
Steph- you must must have the fondue! worth it even though it's pricy (by our cheap SE Asian standards haha) Laurie- great weekend, as always! love the pics
haha love it! It was a great time, and I owe it all to you and your catchy eye of the Bangkok Post. (and I guess my mom for fed exing my jazz shoes to me haha)
haha- i knew you would like that one! yes, indeed, 9 scoops of ice cream in the flavors that you choose. it was fabulous, especially because i had a coupon!
I thought the photo montage at the movies was funny too! Well not funny ha-ha, but kind of cute and different. I remembered you telling me about hearing the natl. anthem at 6 that day, and one day when I was at the park at that time, the same thing happened. I stopped along with everyone else, but seemed to get more stares from Thais that I knew to actually stop!
Yay! I am so excited you discovered the market! That should definitely make life better in the buri. I have seen aerobics here a couple times but keep forgetting where exactly they are and when. Maybe i'll have to try them out with you when I come visit...
It was fun to have you and I feel the void since you left! I have to get you all the other pix that will not go up on the blog and are also a little too much for facebook (dance pix from that last night). I might upload them to Kodak.com or some such site and then send them to you and Courtney privately. xo
Oh I feel ya on this one! I finally stopped giggling every time I tried to wai and just pretend I'm doing it right now. My favorite though is when I'm bicycling into school, go past the director, and attempt to do the one handed wai, while holding on to m bike and peddling. Quite tricky!

Yeah, I tried to do the positives first so it didn't seem too negative!! Thought of all our conversations as I was typing it, too.
