I will be joining my favorite team leaders, Chuck and Terri, in Hungary from July 11-20, 2014. As part of a Thrivent Builds Worldwide / Habitat for Humanity trip, 17 of us from all over the US will help install window, wall and attic insulation to an existing family's home in nearby Veresegyház to allow for proper heating in the cold winter months.

This will be my third Thrivent/Habitat global trip, and I am excited to see what the week brings!

In 2008 I stumbled across a message board post, looking for people interested in an opportunity to volunteer with Thrivent Financial/Habitat for Humanity in Poland. I contacted Terri with Thrivent on a whim, and six months later I found myself flying across the ocean with a team of strangers who quickly became family. And then I was hooked.
