| 23rd December 2009 Steve (Dad) | "Grumpy old man rock" - From: Heading Bush, Day 7 - Sunrise at Uluru and Kata Tjuta Hi you two, loving all the blogs again. Not sure I can see the "old man" in the rock, it reminded me more of jabba the hut. We are basking in some serious snow back here, that sun over Uluru looks very inviting. Hope to speak to you at Christmas. Love to both, Steve |

Your stories bring back so many good memories! Keep writing loads of bloggs please!! Love Susan and Mark and ? :) |

| 9th December 2009 Muthi | Could do better - From: Leaving jobs, our apartment and Sydney I think the bottom of the Christmas tree could of had a few more decoration on, but the top looks amazing. In true appraisal fashion, I think Amy should be sent back to the factory for more decoration training. Can't believe you both worked for three months, that's more than you did whilst you were in the UK. Keep enjoying yourself, you lucky...... |
| 23rd November 2009 Min | hi - From: The Indian Pacific, Broken Hill and Silverton Hi Guys I just read your blog on Broken Hill. I could feel the excitement that you felt but....nah still dont get it! I am hoping that it is more to do with the contrast between old blighty and the outback and that whole novelty factor....and less to do with the fact that you have quite possibly lost your minds!! If it is the later...please let me know and I will make arrangements for you. Min xxx |

Hope you and Amy (Amy?) have a great trip (even though you're going to be travelling through hell at this time of year). And remember, Australia is a huge country - plenty of space to hide a corpse - so don't hitch-hike! Bernice |
| 13th November 2009 eric | :) - From: Perhentian Kecil loved reading your blog - i can identify with your running out of air during learning - happened to me too! had to use the instructor's secondary regulator :p |
| 26th October 2009 Steve | reminiscing - From: Good morning (well, afternoon actually) Vietnam! I just read your blog because I'm thinking about taking a short trip to Hanoi soon for some sightseeing. The Halong bay area seems really nice. Anyway, after reading the first part of your blog about all the scams, I started reliving some of the things I experienced on a recent trip to Philippines. We had a layover in Manila on our way to Cebu, and honestly, about 99% of the people I came into contact with had some scam. I wasn't prepared for this, so I did get taken a couple times at first, but I soon caught on. Hopefully I'll do well in Vietnam. Thanks! |
| 9th October 2009 Diane | iPho! - From: Jobs, a dust storm, and visiting family in Manly Lovin' the tee Lee! Genius. xx |

| 25th August 2009 Douglas Eggleton | Sleeper Coach - From: The beautiful Hoi An and its excellent tailors At first I saw the pretty blue neon lights and it looked pretty funky, then I enlarged the picture, this is worse than the sleeper train! Are those bed things designed for western people? |
| 20th August 2009 Jess | Nha Trang to Hoi An - From: The beautiful Hoi An and its excellent tailors I feel like a celebrity - my name mentioned in lights on the internet. How's the next leg of the journey? Whoopsie-like? We have landed back in Blighty to a bit of a culture shock but will do our best to soften the blow for you guys with a nice bottle or two of red in Stokey. Looking forward to the next episode in the Lee and Amy adventures... |
| 16th August 2009 leeandamy | Hoi An and suits - From: The beautiful Hoi An and its excellent tailors Hey Dave, Glad you liked the blog, you're sure to like Hoi An, its a beautiful place. The suits vary depending on the material (you can pay up to 300 US dollars for the top notch stuff) but as a general guide you can expect to pay between 60 - 120 US dollars for a regular suit. I paid 110 for both of mine and they were better quality (in both material and actual making) than I'd get from a high street shop back in the UK. Shirts range from 10-30 US dollars and are good too. Generally, the higher the price, the better the tailor. Can't recommend the ladies in Bi Bo highly enough! Say Lee and Amy sent you, you might get a discount All the best mate, hope you enjoy your trip - be sure to try Cao Lau! |
| 15th August 2009 Wildh2o | - From: The beautiful Hoi An and its excellent tailors Very nice synopsis. Some really good suggestions too. Its good to know about the hotel and taylors in Hoi An. I plan on going there myself in the next few weeks to have some suits made. One question: On average how much does it cost for a decent suit? Also, is it easy to have things shipped home? Thanks again for the travel update and be safe. Dave |
| 9th August 2009 Dad and Kathy | Hello Hippies. - From: Some say Ho Chi Minh City, some say Saigon. I say Oobiliboo, just to be safe. Well I am impressed, Lee talking in Vietnamese about Dong. | 23rd May 2009 Catherine and Matt | Green Gunk - From: Chilling in Muang Ngoi Neua Did the green gunk smell like tiger balm? A strong antiseptic smell? It works wonders for an insect bites, cuts, bruises, spots etc, so my advice is pick some up yourselves. xxxx |
