Quelle experience! Je t embrasse, A bientot Sophie

RE:???
Hello Bregt, thanks for your comment and to reply to your question, they blow air into the dead sheep (which he killed a few seconds earlier) in order to separate the skin from the flesh, then it is very easy to skin off the sheep...clever guys!

A JEWEL IN A HARSH LANDSCAPE
Beautiful blog...I have a passion for carved grottoes...ancient cultures preserved for eternity...many damaged but some in good condition... From your blog it is clear Petra is a jewel in the desert...I dare to dream...then to do it...as you advise there are 800 sites & could stay a week...Petra has jumped to well up the list...thank you for that.

So Jealous
I wanted to do this this year but couldn't cause I got stuck in the Egypt revolution. Words can't describe how jealous I am right now. Hopefully the whole inexperienced diver is for the time being because the dive companies are desperate for money so will take on anyone at the moment??

Re: comments
Hello Dave & Merry Jo! Thanks so much for the sweet comment, glad you enjoyed this blog & indeed guess we are both sharing a similar life phylosophie, enjoying every moment! Catch up in Amman, inchallah. Hello Sophia, the camera I am using for the underwater pics is a Canon Ixus 960IS (with diving mode) + diving case and for everything else that doesnt involve water, the latest Canon EOS 550D 18-135mn. As for the travel part indeed, I got quite a bit of holiday so I do end up traveling alone from time to time which I actually enjoy(and to be honest I do not write a blog for every single travel/ long week end I do...simply not enough time, and it is always a good thing to keep a bit of privacy) Take care,

Love your blog!
I love your writing and photography! I've been thinking about one thing and I hope that it is okay if I ask you, but do you travel on your own or do you have a partner? And one more, what kind of an camera do you own? Thank you! And I have to agree with the other comment, you are really living the life, I want to do this one day!

Thanks Dave & Merry for your comment, Jordan is indeed beautiful and so worth discovering! As far as abilities goes, well honestly doubted I would make it (and the next day was terribly painful) but somehow survived it & now asking for now :-)
