Amazing colors....love all the pictures. Thanks for sharing. Never been to Roswell. Assume they would turn the town into an attraction. However, it has to be interesting. Do you think the articles and some of the details were authentic??

Yes, I do think the would have/should have done more with the town....and I do think the articles were authentic....weather people really saw what they though they saw, I don't know...(I didn't see anything)

I had very clear visuals (in my mind, of course) of the Apaches on the hills....all lined up on their horses (just like on TV). Of course, all the ones I actually saw were running the casino!

Jim actually did want to send something to Marie, but never got around to it.....camping was only $12./night...including 30 amp & water (can you imagine??) and we could see our tent from the RV. Re: my pic....didn't see too many of you either.....hmmmm....guess we know who the photographers are!

The Desert Green
Hi Linda and Jim, Started to write yesterday and got interrupted! Anyway, I was going to say that the desert greenery is most likely creosote bushes. They green up when we get rains and can play havoc with allergies. Apache Junction Flea Market looks like Quartzsite. Haven't been there. Love Casa Grande. Lots to do around the area and the same for Tucson. Sounds like you are going to have some fun and maybe some income in TX. Be interested to hear how you like the area. We think we are going to spend a few days near Yuma, going to the end of season party in Algodones 3/23. Larry wants to take the rig and park nearby, Winterhaven maybe. He loves those margaritas! Enjoying your blog and pics. Looking forward to more. I'm doing good. PT this morning and on the mend! Love you both, M & L

Yes, you are so right about easily bored in Quartzsite. It\'s the same thing from one end of town to the other. January is usually the busiest time with lots of vendors from all over, not to mention a RV tents that go up overnight for the hoopla. We will see you Thursday and we can all be bored together!

Wow! Spectacular pictures of the balloon fest. Amazing how huge the balloons are. I don't think I knew people were creative in their balloon designs. Interesting.
