White walls Sounds as if you are having a ball learning about the Norwegian culture. About white walls, I think you need to see my sister, the artist. living in Vikersund a couple of hours drive from Oslo. Liv Grønlund Sørensen, Råen, Vikersund , e mail adress(es):
livsg@online.no , ph 03 788053 She is very nice and it is a nice drive to Vikersund. Liv went to the College of the Arts in Melb.
Italy sounded very nice.
how is the Norwegian going? And work?
Maria the Tour Guide? I was day-dreaming about flying to Norway and driving around with you; helping to write down petrol prices, discussing flag streamers and enjoying the wonderful sites of the Norwegian country side; when it came to me. You earn a little extra cash on the side by picking up tourists along your route. You could share your Norwegian Knowledge with eager packpackers between petrol stations. It would be cheaper than a real tour, and the tourists have the option of getting out at any time. Plus you will have a bit of company. According to Oxford Dictionary Online a streamer (noun) is "a long and narrow pointed flag". So technically he is still calling it a flag. Haha Maria wins!
just wondering.... do people in norway try and cross the boom gates when they are closed, then get their cars squished by the planes, like idiots do in australia??
It sounds like you are having a good time over there. Happy to hear that it is not raining 24/7 like when we were there! I am with you on the boomgates - I've never heard of them for planes! Say hello to Lars for me.
Great Blogg Great Blogg, I think it is great. Look, there are stories and pictures, a FLAG and even a boomb gate, what more could people want? I mean where would we be without boomb gates and FLAGS? Well there would be no borders - can't have a border without a boomb gates. it just doesn't work. There would be no countries for the boomb gates to protect as you can't have a country without a flag. Also you need flag polrs that way people can have their photo taken at the base if it in countries like Norway. I am not asking you to like it. It's just part of the bigger picture known as "THE WAY".
Oh and Hi Lars, hope you are swell, well and not eating pal with your mate Mel down at the local fairy dell.

I'm Maria, 28 from Australia and living in Norway. Reason why? I met my man in 98 at Uni. Lars was studying in Melbourne and living the life and so was I. We have lived in Oslo, Norway in 2000, after in Dublin, Ireland in 2003 and in between in Melbourne. Now it's back to Oslo again. So here goes!... full info
