I have recently realized I am a nomad. I am constantly in search of a new place to go. This is proving especially hard for 2 reasons - 1) I am currently trying to finish a degree in elementary education and 2)I have no money. So...I just run away for a day or weekend when I can and go where ever the road takes me. Much to my dismay, I have not left the US or Canada yet and well...pretty much the midwest... but I feel it is important to look around here anyway before I begin my world travels. You should know where you come from before you go and explore other places.

Anyway, it was the last day before we headed back to school and I had been wanting to show her this city for while. (I had been there before for work.) One of the first places we stopped was an Irish pub but since it was about 10:30AM there on a Sunday we felt a wee bit shameful and couldn't bring ourselves to belly up to the bar. So we continued a walk down one of the main ... read more
