At the Airport

I am sitting here at the airport and waiting to board the plane, so I figured there couldn't be a more perfect opportunity to do my 1st experience blog! This will be my first experience flying a plane, and so far it has been very interesting. Mom and I ate lunch before we got here, and she says she ate too fast because apparently she is feeling sick. While just standing in the line to check-in, she had to run to the bathroom 3 times. Yep, so she was supposed to be there to support me and comfort me, but instead she was sitting on the toilet the whole time! Anyways, I checked-in, and one of my suitcases weighted 45 lbs and the other weighed exactly 49 lbs! YAY! I did it! Haha, its a bit ... read more

Hey everyone! Yay! My trip is officially 5 days away now. Though there is still much to do, I know the Lord will be faithful because He always is and I have especially been sitting under His faithfulness this week! As camps are approaching here in VA, it has been so bittersweet. I have not missed camp since I have been about six or seven years old, so its hard to imagine not being there and seeing everyone, but I believe the Lord knows what He is doing. Whats going to be the hardest is not being with our youth and kids from church and not being able to watch firsthand how God is going to transform them while they are there. Bulgaria Preparations and Randomness

Wow! So I cannot believe that in 12 days I will be on my first plane ride ever and on my way to Bulgaria! So excited! Eeek! I just wanted to share some general information (but not too detailed) about what will be going on while I am there and what the preparation has been like so far for this trip. Today we had our 1st team conference call and it went well. We mainly went over guidelines and talked about our packing list, so it wasn't anything too intense.
