The last few days have been hectic. Weve really rushed the last few countires and are now with Jos parents in Poland. Ciopenhagen was nic and Stockholm was fantasic if not extremly expensive. On the way up Swedens coast we saw many wild animals includeing a Moose!! Fantastic. Stockholm is the most beautiful city I have ever seen. From there we took the 17hr ferry across to Talin in Estonia. Tallin is a 14th Century walled city that is gourgeous. We then traveled down to Riga in Latvia and Vilnus in Lithuauina. Then down to Warsawa and now in the South of POland. We got stopped by the copes in Lith for speeding. They were hiden behind a tree and wernt useing the speed gun properly. They were also 10m from the speed change zone. After ... read more

HAy there soryy theres no photos as yet but I forgot the USb cable . We have only been on the road 4 days but it feels a life time since we left London. The weather has been kind to us and weve managed to stock up on plenty of wine and beer in France for the long northern journey through sweden and Denmark. It takes a bit of getting used to but I think ive gotten the hand of driving on the wrong side of the road and only had one near miss so far. Jos doing a great job on the navagation side and weve managed to have only 25 arguments about which way too go , so in all not bad !! Actually the roads so far have been easy . Hay there. We had a blast in Cairo. Thankfully not literally ( Some of you may have heard about the explosions ). Cairo would have to rate as one of the nosier , smelliest, dirtiest cities we’ve been to. Very Hectic. The history there is great. We visited the Pyramids ( Jo didn’t like the camels too much !! ) ,Islamic Cairo, The markets( Bought the odd souvenir ) , Coptic Cairo and the Citadel built during the Crusades. The sphinx was amazing and the Pyramids Huge. We took the train from Cairo to Luxor , following the Nile . ( Very cheap and get to meet the locals). Luxor was great. The valley of the Kings and Queens was extremely hot ( 40-50C ) We visited both Luxor and Karnak temples at night. At the ... read more

Isreal was great. We traveled from the South to Jeruselum. It is a very small country and has good transport links. We stayed with Isreal friends. They were great ( Thanks Sara and Yuval for a great time ). We managed to see every Jesus thing there ( thanks to Jo !! ) and walk around the old city, mount of Olives, many churches and Markets. We hired a car for one day and visited the old fort at Masada and floated in the dead sea. We even had the privalage of being invited to participate in a relegious ceromony for their sabbath . All in all very nice country except for the stupid questions entering and the even more stupid questions while leaving. ... read more
