Well not much news from here. I am still unemployed, the market in London is bad and Jo goes back to work in two weeks. She has a touch base day on Friday. The twins are well. Jake has almost mastered crawling and Zoe is still saying dadada, bababa etc. We have been going to a lot more play groups and sing along sessions as well as a first birthday party, so that they can socialise more. We also went to a twins club meeting where there were only twins. I managed a short break to Austria for the weekend. For a friends 50th, near Salzburg. Lovely to be out of the city and in the country side, but I almost missed the flight due to an accident on the motor way. Flight closed at 5.55pm ... read more

Hi all. Not much has been happening here since Xmas. My Mum came over to help us out and she has now left on a trip to Burma. Im still looking for work, in a very quiet job market. I passed my exams that gave me a project management qualification and are now studing Polish every day with the hope to have a conversation soon !! Jo is well and is back in shape and enjoying motherhood. Each day we go for a long walk. The twins have grown so much that we are giving away clothes that they have out grown. They are grabbing, rolling over and I think that Zoe will soon be crawling. Jake is alittle behind , but they both smile and laugh , which is great. They are also eating 3 ... read more

With another year almost gone , its that time to wish everyone a Merry Xmas. This year our family has doubled in size and it has been a hectic 11 weeks. Things are starting to settle and the twins are begining to sleep better at night. We are no longer doing 18 feeds/changes a day. Thanks be. Zoe actually slept for 8 hrs the other night, although Jake still woke up a couple of times so maximum sleep we get is 4hrs. We are looking foward to Christmas with my Mum staying with us, and hopefully slightly warmer weather. For the past week the temperature has hardly risen above 0 and we have had plenty of snow. At the moment Jo is still on maternity leave and I am unemployed. The job market is very bad ... read more

Hi there. Its been ages since our last post. Christmas was spent in England with Jos parents. They enjoyed London as it was only thier second visit ever. I worked through the holidays but we did manage to get away for a couple of days. The weather over winter has been the worst in 30 years with so many snow days here that I lost count. The temperature never seemed to get much above freezing. Jo and I have been busy at work , but the big news is that we are expecting twins in September. Ive put a picture of the first ultrasound. We have also just come back from the Canary Islands where we both got a bit sunburnt, I guess it was due to being inside for so long. Im not sure what ... read more

Hi, The latest update is that we got our passports back from the home office after I sent a letter of complaint over our treatment. After an incredibly stressful month, in which we were refused a visa, then had our passports lost twice, I now have another 5 year visa. To celebrate, I surprised Jo with a trip to Paris, see photos. We stayed in a 4 star hotel beside the Eiffel Tower, see photo from our window. Had a nice dinner at the Buddha Bar restaurant and saw the sights. Saw plenty of places we would like to live!! I also have a new job as the Health Improvement Lead for smoking Cessation. My job is to get 1300 people to quit smoking and I manage a small team of advisors. Most of my work ... read more
