Hi, The latest update is that we got our passports back from the home office after I sent a letter of complaint over our treatment. After an incredibly stressful month, in which we were refused a visa, then had our passports lost twice, I now have another 5 year visa. To celebrate, I surprised Jo with a trip to Paris, see photos. We stayed in a 4 star hotel beside the Eiffel Tower, see photo from our window. Had a nice dinner at the Buddha Bar restaurant and saw the sights. Saw plenty of places we would like to live!! Hell, 4 months have been and gone, extremely quick. We have been very busy since Iceland. Weve been to Copenhagen and stayed with Jo's family in the Embassy district. They cater for bike riders very well there and it is a very beautiful city. We have also been to the Ballet, Giselle. Had holidays in Poland. Where I did some plumbing on the country house and cut down a few trees. Weve also seen Madonna ( London 16,000 people) and U2 in Katowice ( 85,000 people) which was awesome. Weve walked around Regents Park on a beautiful spring day, the best spring weather I can remember. Ive been to the RAF museum and we've both been to the V&A museum and London Transport museum. Not much been happening. I went for drinks on the weekend to the Walkabout for drinks and came home a little late !! We also went to the Chinese new year festival in Trafalgar Sq. Happy New Year to all. I hope you all had great xmas and a good start to the new year. We spent Christmas in Poland with Jo's parents. It got down to -4C in the daytime and snowed on Christmas eve and Christmas day. We did the traditional Polish Christmas meal and visited all the relatives and I bought fireworks and plenty of rockets to anoy the apartment nextdoor. Merry Christmas and happy new year !!!. We hope all is well and that you and your families are enjoying the festive cheer. We have been very busy here in London and fly tomorrow to spend Christmas in Poland for a week. Hell from Sunny and hot London. In fact its been 21C today and we had a lovely walk in Hyde Park today. My mum is over so I have been showing her around London. Poland was great and we spent a week traveling around in Jos Dads Fiat 500. We also spent some time in the Country side , avoiding the massive lighting and hail stroms !, which was lso great. Sorry for the lateness of this blog entry, although I guess alot of you in the northern hemisphere are on holiday anyway. We have been very busy here in Poland. But before that, Thailand. Once again it managed to deliver. We visited Chang MAi in the North, Train there and Plane back. We managed to do a fly by wire in the jungle. The largest of which was 150m high and 300m long. Weve got the emergency exut seats booked for plenty of leg room and cant wait to get to that 30C in Bangkok and work off somw of the wieght I have put on from eating and drinking too much over the last 10 days. Hi all, Sorry no pics this time as Sydney is a bit overcast and misty. We have left NZ and are now bound for Thailand. We had a great couple of leaving parties and I managed to get to the final of the Super 14 Rugby, my team won. We will now potter around Sydney for the next week and half and then make our way to the beach somewhere in Thailand.
