Okay Parati was awesome!! It's so similar to Colonia in that it's a fairly small town with stone rock roads and beautiful beaches. It was a little overcast with occasional showers but the beach was really nice. By far the best part was the natural waterslide, which is essentially a huge angled rock sloping downwards in a river with lots of moss on it. It was so much fun! Buenos aires is a huge city, at least 5 times Sydney but funnily enough getting around is about 5 times as easy with the 40c subway system. First thing off the plane I was promptly asked by a very non- official aaxi driver if I needed a ride, but wary after my $160US taxi ride into new York last year I politely told him (in my mind) to go and prey on a cashed up American hahaha Hostel I was staying at was awesome I met some funny Irish girls and hung out with them for a few days, including getting a little bit drunk and accidentely going to a ... read more
