WOW That sort of quiet you spoke of is exactly what we had at Wolf Creek resort in Eden, UT this last weekend. Love places like that!
Telluride looks beautiful. LUCKY BEOTCH!
4 Corners Is it true you have to pay to have the priviledge of standing on 4 corners? I was going to go an hour out of my way one time to do it, but lost interest when i heard that!
You mentioned your travelblog on one of the havasupai posts i think, and i checked it out..i always love reading ppls travels!
for nassau, honestly, we didn't venture too far from the beach the whole time we were there. I don't think there was anything overly interesting in town at all... there's the bacardi store, senor frogs with some delicious shots, and a couple of other night clubs, but touring-wise, i don't think there's much. somebody told me there's a pirate museum, and commonwealth brewery (which brews kalik beer) is open for tours, but i don't know for sure. sorry i can't be more help!
nice drive,eh? the duck sign was my favorite picture... seen huge dogs before. Ain't idaho a 'bute? I agree about Montana. Wouldn't mind an extended stay, like from late august to mid Oct, but would love to be able to go home after. Rivers up the waz in Montana, ayy? observations I've made thanks to the vacay with Sharon to see Benny. Mountains everywhere and forever. Rivers like Ten. Campgrounds like trailer parks in Az (many) and lots of meandering hiway with some incredible homesteads that make it look live everyone who lives there must be FAT. We crossed the Snake more times than we could count. Wouldn't mind another visit myself.
Congrats As soon as i started readinf your comments, i could feel how much fun you´ve gotten in rockypoint, that´s awesome...i live most south of that place, but i´ll be there next year...
thanks for coming to mexico
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word, and the skies are not cloudy all day! That was a fun trip! And fast! I guess time flies when you have someone with you. Thanks for going along! I think the fire was in southern UT though.
havasu those pics are so cool and bring back good memories, even though you think I didn't really enjoy myself. I'm glad I went and would go again. Just with different shoes that don't squish my toes, an air mattress for sleeping and JD for me. Maybe next year????
Eeeeekkkks is right!!!! Is Jeffrey out of his mind or did the sun in Arizona touch his brain THAT much???? Daddy long legs are fine, but you can leave the rest right under the rocks as far as I'm concerned!!! I KNOW, its a dry heat. Ah....for that dry heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first time? If thats your first time then I guess we
need to go to West Virginia to go white water rafting
and rock climbing they have places
where you can do both, one on one day and the other the next day, Its AWSOME
I think he castle we seen was wayyyy prettier
and as far as the twinkies go, all stuff like gummi bears
and marshmellows and stuff have pig fat in them
So pretty! That Chihuly glass is gorgeous! I've always wanted to go to the desert botanical gardens here to see the glass, but you have to make reservations to get in...WTF! Probably have a better chance seeing it if I just go to Vegas! Lol!

Not phallic
It looks like a large turd to me, but still funny! Looks like a great place to discover. And mostly empty trails is always a plus :-)
