Hi Marlene and Ian
Have been watching your progress. Do you cover the boat when you leave it for the summer or do you leave it as the picture indicated?. I was under the impression that the boats needed to be covered and humidity and "critters" were a bit of a problem. Hopefully we can get together this summer at some juncture. Best Regards. Garry and Yola
March greetings Thanks for keeping us posted on your adventures in the Keys. Didn't realize that the crazy cold was affecting you so far south in Florida. We just returned from our 12 day sailing trip in the Grenedines where we rendezvoued with Linda and Garry Graham on their boat July Indian. Their base these days is in Bequia - a beautiful spot among many. Greg and Leslie Mason chartered a Beneteau with us out of St. Vincent. Lots of great sailing and snorkling wherever we explored!! We forgot how hot it can be that far south and took a few days to climatize to that. Hope the weather improves for your boating plans and look forward to your next blog. Yola and Garry/ Liberte'

Key West This is one neat place. I visited here first from a cruise ship with my daughters and it was a fun time. On another cruise Joan and I had a Sunday morning here (boat left around 2). We enjoyed the ambience of the town and the Butterfly Conservatory until the bars opened and we were enjoying a drink at Captain Tony's when who should walk in , but a pirate!
Maybe Buffett should write a song about that! (or did he??) It's a must-return-to place for us, but the way you did it - by land, with time. Keep us posted.
love,
Joan and John
From the frozen north When do you guys get back to Sauble Beach? Norah and I will be on the Millennium - March 5th until March 15th. Great pics, by the way.
