High 'n Dry
Always 'sad' to see a fine yacht hauled out of water - but we can only imagine what she would look like after a summer by herself at the dock. Wishing you better luck next season for 'the crossing'. Love from Jan & Garry

You shouldda called...
Hi there. I wish we'd known where you were and what you weren't doing as Joan and I spent 8 days at a hotel/suite in Tampa. We even spent a dayh at the Hommosassa State Park looking at the manatees and other wildlife there. It would have been great to visit. Oh well... Was the family illness in Canada or Australia? Best wishes, John L

On the Hard
Time to get your land legs functioning again!!!! I guess that the 'Traveller' driver only gets a beer after the job is done. Your faith is to be commended. We have been on St. S. for two months and enjoyed the most wonderful weather - often too hot. Golf marginally improved so will look forward to a round with you both some time in the Summer. Safe drive home. Judi/John

hello from the Gulf
Hi There - Yes it has been lovely weather - although a cold front came in briefly reminding us of colder temps. The Gust of Wind looks great - all prizzied up ready for her voyage to the Bahamas. We wish you warm weather and safe seas. Maybe we will hook up before then. Keep the Blog coming.... LUV LIN & RICK

Stuart
Moved my launch up to 1/28 ... will be underway early February and can schedule a stop maybe at the mooring field near the entrance to the Okeechobee waterway - should be close enough for us to get together. Alternative anchor Manatee Pocket if that's closer and there are still places to drop the hook there. Keep me posted - new upgrades look good. I just installed an underwater light which should be a hoot when I get to clean waters.

New look
Very smooth and efficient looking, just the thing for aging joints. What is the significance of raising the water line? Good for another 20 years, boat and sailors. Happy sailing wherever you may elect to travel

"Take me Home, Country Roads"
Great album of scenery and memories. When I read, "Blue Ridge Mtns" & "Shenandoah" it immediately brought John Denver's Country Roads song to mind - I think his lyrics refer to the Shenandoah River. Quite a beautiful area.
