I'm an undergraduate Psychology student, and will be finishing my first degree this year 😊 😊 very exciting, cannot wait to wear an academic gown and throw my hat in the air like a true graduate! I will hopefully be studying honours in Psychology next year, so that I can become a clinical psychologist, which is my dream.
I grew up in the country town of Mt.Gambier, which is a 5 hour drive from Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. I am currently living at Aquinas College in Adelaide, a residential college for students from the country. The past 3 years at Aquinas have been so fun, and I will likely be returning in 2012 😊
I love going back to Mt.Gambier in the holidays to spend time with friends and family, but I much prefer to live in the city, because it is much more exciting!

I am embarking on a two week trip to Bali, Indonesia on the 5th of December, and am so excited!! The last time I went overseas was in 2006, to Italy. I think it is about time I go overseas again! I will also be going back to Europe in December 2012. I am so excited to be going to Bali with my friends at university, because we are celebrating finishing our exams and undergraduate Psychology degree. We will deserve a trip! I will be spending 1 week in Kuta with a friend, then going on a Gap Adventures tour to Sanur, Lovina Beach and Ubud. SO EXCITED!! I want to experience as much of the culture as I can and soak up the sun 😊

In January 2011 we went on our annual summer holiday, which was Flerieu Peninsula this year. We went to the Barossa Valley the year before which was beautiful, so decided on Flerieu Peninsula for this year. We were anticipating a holidays full of wine tasting, food tasting and gorgeous beaches and markets. We did lots of winery tours, my favourite being Dog Ridge. We went to see many of the spots where 'The Boys are Back' was filmed (an Australian film starring Clove Owen). Highlights included: - Dog Ridge Winery(where the house in 'The Boys are Back' was filmed) -Book market at Myponga (many classic books were purchased!) -Fruchoc factory (mmmmm) -Aldinga Beach -Victor Harbour -Mount Compass Cheese Factory -Chapel Hill Winery -Jacobs Creek Winery -Shopping in Victor Harbour -Camel ride at the beach at Victor ... read more

My friends and I were at our normal Wednesday lunch (during our uni break), and were thinking how there are so many cheap holidays in South East Asia that sound absolutely amazing. We though that travelling overseas to a foreign country would be an awesome way to celebrate the end of exams, which would be coming up in the next term. We all went home that day, and researched trips to South East Asia a little bit further. None of us were actually thinking of doing the trip, but then when we discovered how cheap tickets to Bali would be, we though WE HAVE TO GO! So we all went down to the travel agent and got a quote of our trips. Quite reasonable! We have all fully paid for the trip now, so it is ... read more

Europe » Italy » Piedmont » Turin October 5th 2011

In 2006 (long time ago! so many great memories) I went on the school art trip to Italy. This was the most amazing experience for a 16 year old, and one that I will never forget. I spent 2 weeks living with a host family in Torino, Piedmont. Then we toured around Italy for the last 10 days. During the first 2 weeks in Turin, I stayed with a host family, the Tonarelli's who lived in the middle of the city. My host sister was Giulia, my host father was Adriano and my host mother was Paula. I still keep in contact with Giulia. They were like a true family to me in those 2 weeks. They are my Italian family! During these 2 weeks, I attended school with Giulia, which was very interesting, then the ... read more
