My friends and I are graduating from our undergraduate degree of Psychology at the end of this year, and thought what better way to celebrate than a trip to Bali! A trip to Bali seems to be a right of passage for young Australians.
Whilst many people imagine Bali to be just like experiencing schoolies week, I aim to experience much more. I want to immerse myself in the culture, meet the local people and just have a fabulous time (and get a great tan, naturally).
For the first week I will be staying in Kuta with a friend, where we will be residing at the Wina Holiday Villa. The accomodation sounds gorgeous. There is a day spa, many pools, bars and a restaurant. We also get buffet breakfast and fresh fruit every day (what more could we want?). We have booked an elephant ride at the Elephant Safari Park, which I am so excited about (my Nan and Groompa tell me that this is a great experience).
The second week I will be going on a \'Bali Adventure\' tour through Gap Adventures on my own. This is a Contiki style tour, with a group of young people (about 10-15 people). The tour will take me to Sanur, Lovina, Ubud and Kintamani.
It is only a couple of months away, so let the countdown begin!!!
