Be prepared to step into another world that is completly and totaly different than you could have imagined! Ukraine is the worlds newest upstart democracy that truly begs for exploration. I would highly reccomend you check it out before it becomes a "normal" European country. The old face of the USSR is evident just about everywhere. Yet the people are very Western friendly. Despite it's shortcomings, Ukraine has a human quality that many wealthy western nations, it seems, have lost.
