Spike Jones on tour in 2008 Current mood: adventurous Category: Jobs, Work, Careers Well 2008 started very slow for me and i even thought about a change of carreer. Then i received a phone call in March from , Tark @ JHE with a band called Clatter needing a TM /DRIVER /FOH, (had to be American).After several cross Atlantic emails i Got the Job.Well am i glad because it was a wonderful trip of the south east England and a little trip to France. They are a great band and beautiful people,Check them out. Next Job was with a Metal band from Scotland called Serpico and it was back to a spliter Van and Travel Lodges for me.We were the support band on The Aden tour ,Once again a great band and wonderful tour. GRANT LEE PHILIPS TOUR 2007 A report from spike jones tour manager and sound engineer. I met up with the band at Heathrow airport and boy was it great to meet up with my old friend. Who I may say looks very well. We flew into Oslo and waited for our luggage. But no Guitars. I was giving a baggage claim and told not to worry the Two Guitars would arrive at Halden Hotel Next day. But after spending all day on the phone tracking down the Guitars and the local promoter’s rep assuring me they were in a car and on their way to the festival.
