2006, I quit my full-time job in a Hollywood movie post-production company and decide to move on and become a documentary photographer. Being a freelancer, it has allowed me to work from anywhere on this planet as far as I keep my mac pro running and with Internet.
My big interest is to photograph disappearing cultures in remote areas of China and Tibet. After visiting Tibet last year, currently I am mainly focusing on photographing people and Tibetan cultures in different areas of Tibet. Even though there are many breathtaking photographs of Tibet out there. I still feel that my passion and sensitivities on human being will lead me to present photos of Tibet from a different point of view.
I have learned that the most heart-warming photo can be taken only based on a fully trusted and respectful relationship between photographer and another human being.
And that is what I am aiming for.
