Sad to end So sad to end your trip with you. It has been such fun to await the blog and read all about what you have done. The photos are amazing and I am sure all who have seen will have a list of their favorites they want to get copies of. We are lucky you escaped the Greek Gods and are coming back to the U.S. Prayers for safe and on time travel.

I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed reading about your daily adventures and looking forward to your posts. Your pictures are incredible and you have a knack for taking something ordinary (to some) and making them extraordinary. I am a scrapper, so these pictures are FANTASTIC !! Even though I have never met your mom, I found myself tearing while reading your posts. Not out of sadness, but out of pride, love and the way you express your day and your reasons for being there. Your mom would have been very proud of you for taking the leap and she was with you during every step of the way. She certainly has raised one beautiful daughter. Inside and out!

Nice story... Hope you eventually made it to Nice -- regardless of the insane cab prices and constantly striking workers. Vence is lovely, though. And you took some beautiful pictures.
Your pictures look great. I couldnt see any fuzz on them anywhere. Plus you can photoshop that out when you get home. Enjoy the last few days of your trip.
Rome was the last day of my trip when I did study abroad and it was both exciting and overwhelming. There is so much to see you just have to target the things you want. Sounds like you crammed a lot in! Enjoy your relaxation in Greece! So glad we got to "chat"today! Safe journey!

Florence, Italy So glad you are enjoying Florence - it was one of my favorite locations in Italy too! And Yes your mom would have loved that town with all it's art, history and shopping. Enjoy!
I love Florence too! Been there twice and your photos remind me how lovely it is. Yes the Duomo climb gets scary but as you said, well worth it. I'm glad you got to do that , the mueseums and have truffles - YUMMY!
Thanks for posting - I love to relivemy tours there. Rome will be great too but much larger. Lots of walking so wear good shoes!
