Bruce the Moose Glad to see he was there with you. We had an exciting time with him at the last build for Bruce the Moose in Slave Lake Alberta in late August 2015. Great build and lots of fun.
travel insurance? Thanks so much for your help! There are a number of countries that I would like to visit that fall under the government "do not travel list" and my concern was not being able to get medically evacuated should something happen. Happy travels to you.
travel insurance? Just stumbled on this post about your travels to Iran. When you get the chance, can you tell me who you used for travel insurance as I know some companies won't extend coverage for countries that have a government issued do not travel advisory?
insurance for Iran I have Blue Cross (canada) and they cover me any where I travel in the world. I specifically asked about Iran and they confirmed I was covered.

hiking coastal trails - helps to be mad! Hey Murray,
was fun to read about your adventure, particularly in light of the fact that we are currently in training to do the WCT again. When we did it 2 years ago we had not a drop of rain but are not counting on the luck for our planning. Not sure I am brave enough to do the Juan De Fuca!
best,

Your Bucket List MS
don't know if you have one but if so, it must be getting shorter by the day. haven't looked at your blog since last august, very interesting to read about your off the beaten path adventures. can't wait to retire and do some of this stuff.

Fantastic Blog Murray Just the kind of info I needed. I love your wicked humor about the airline workers and the quinine. Sounds like an amazing country. I'll write down all of the places you stayed and map out a plan from there. Two questions- could you tour around the entire country on a bus? Any idea how much car rentals are in Iceland?
Too Much Fun!! Hey Murray,
All in all it sounds like a great trip so far. I'll look forward getting to more South American food & wine reviews. We had an evening with Jan, Pat & Andy at Mary Mile's last week - it was great to see Jan - they are all looking forward to China - I'm not thinking about it.
Cheers,
Mike
Iceland bike Reykjavik Reykjavik Bike Tours has a website called - icelandbike.com, that's how I found this website. Wonderful bike trip you made. All the best, Stefan, tourist guide of Reykjavik Bike Tours in Iceland.
iceland fun Hi Coates
Again another adventure laden trip. The scenery looks fabulous and the trip one for the records!! Glad you are home safely. Jan I forgot to ask about Iceland/ Denmark when we were talking. Manitoba must seem pretty boring to you guys! Gald you had fun.
love Janet
We did the Dingle Way Walk in May and spent a few days in Northern Ireland (and Ireland) which got me to 108 countries. Travel is a bit challenging for those of us who have to use Canadian airlines-not sure why Air Canada and Westjet are so bad. Over the past year, my best flights have been with Luftansa, Air France and Ryanair. Trains are also a great way to travel.
We are planning a house trade this winter so we can spend some time skiing at Soverign Lakes near Vernon. A trip to Melaque may also be in the offing.
