The Weather ! It's so great to hear from you Carlton ! We've been trying to make the best of it and just enjoy our time with each other and our kids. The weather finally cleared up about two days ago and it's been much better. Hope all is well, please tell everyone we said hello and God Bless ! Take Care, Tim and Candy
Darrell,
Great to hear from you and glad you was able to pick back up on your trip. How is the new phone? When in California, try to go by the Patty Hearst Castle in San Simeon (1/2 way between San Fran and LA). Also, Alcatraz in San Fran is great and The Redwoods is perfect for you. Stay in touch and be safe out there. By the way, we are near Portland, Maine and it is 52 degrees and wet here.
I also picked up some Honduras Cigars for you on the cruise.
see ya,
Tim
Weather You have cold rain! Here in Las Vagas right now it is 110 and it's just noon. It may hit 115 plus this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll be heading through Death Valley to Sequoia Nat Park. I better leave early. Later, Darrell
You are right about the mansions in Newport. It is surreal to think a family could live that way. Their beautiful ocean views from their homes are priceless in my opinion.
Thanks so much for the details of Boston. I have been twice and have YET to see the historical sites. :/
Continued safe and fun travels! I must get the book you mentioned early on. Sounds great!
How to see Boston in a few hours!! I'm glad the rain stopped long enough for you to take the world wind tour of Boston. But hey, you saw most of the places that I suggested. I'm just glad to see that you actually 'listen' to me!!!
Hey Poo !! I think you might be right Poo. I think it is a seal too ! I miss you and love you millions ! Hope you're having a great Summer and I can't wait to see you. Be sweet and I'll talk to you soon, Love, Aunt Candy
Rain, Rain, Go Away, Come Again Another Day ! Hey Girl ! The rain has stopped for now so hopefully my little song helped ! It is wonderfully cool here and we are loving it ! See you in three days ! Love ya !
Hey Kim ! I'm glad you're enjoying the blogs and it is lots of fun RVing. You get all the comforts of home and you get to sleep in your own bed everynight ! You'll definitely have to try it soon ! Oh yea, I forgot to thank you for the bottle of wine you had sent to us on the cruise. It was wonderful with our dinner that night. Take Care and stay tuned !
I love the way you write! Your reader can really envision your journey! I am highly impressed with how far you are making it each day! Looks like y'all are having fun so far, and this is a great way for those of us who haven't personally experienced RVing to see how much fun it can be!!
Speed Demon 7 states in one day! With the way he drives will I actually get to 'see' New Brunswick and Nova Scotia or will it just be a BIG ole blur? Just kidding
Be safe, have fun and I will see you in a few days.
Love ya
Hope I get to wear my famous orange hoodie too ! Hey Kim ! We plan on eating a lot of lobster so I'll think about you when I'm drowning mine with lemon. Our cruise was awesome, thanks so much for all your help. Hope you and the family enjoy your upcoming adventures as well. Take care and I'll talk to ya soon !
Nice and Relaxing ! You are right Lynn, it has been uneventful so far but don't think it won't be soon !! Can't wait 'til you get here ! What the heck are you talking about Confederation Bridge ???? Ya'll tricked me !!
Awesome Blog What a fantastic blog, Candy! This will be fun to follow and see what continued fun the summer holds for your family. I so love the Canada/New England coastal areas. I can taste some Maine lobster now. Yum! It should be super this time of year. Hopefully, you'll find some milder temperatures than those here in the South.
We are going on a 12-night Norwegian Fjords and North Cape cruise next month, so we'll get to enjoy mild temperatures and a trip past the Arctic Circle. We are looking forward to wearing a hoodie in July! :)
Have a blast, and safe and fun travels to you and yours!

HAVE A GREAT TRIP! Looks like you guys are already having a good time...how I resent you for being able to do so. Take lots of pictures and I will keep up with your trip. Enjoy your time with Jon. I will ceck on Kayla and Porkchop to make sure you have a house when you return....hahahha
Have fun!!
On the road again! Sounds like day 1 was pretty uneventuful. But you made it out of GA and are all set for parts unknown. Hopefully you will survive the bridge/tunnel. Just think of it as pracitce for our trek across the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island!!!
Only 6 days and I will be with you, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nova Scotia here we come :-)
Trumped You Say !! Girl I trumped you about 12 days ago and I'm still trumping on !! Your pictures at Glacier were awesome and I'm glad you're home safe. There's some crazy stuff in this book but we just keep on doing it !! The Ranger Lady told us to drink lots and lots of water and that would help with the heat and elevation sickness we've been experiencing. If I have learned one thing on this trip, it's the fact that the United States has a lot of incredible things to offer and I hope I get to finish seeing them all before I'm gone !! Tell your Mom and Dad we said hello and we miss them too. Love ya, Candy
What Mexican Hat? All I see is what looks like a freakin alien spaceship that landeded on a rock! Youlive an learn, right? At least you can say you marked it off the list pf 1000 things to see before you die! And that is definitely one that I haven't seen, so you are at least one up on me :-)
Be sure to drink plenty of water (not soda or crown) to combat the heat and elevation.
Take care, be safe and talk to you soon. Love ya
