did you hear the one about the hairy forehead? Yes, a cautionary tale about lucrative sounding 'medical trials'. I think the hairy forehead says it all. You think you hate shaving now?? There was a time when I also considered such desperate measures... Still, I guess it's something to tell the grandkids (the three-eyed hairy-foreheaded ones, that is)!
Anyway, I am really enjoying your blog and the attendant fotays, keep em up lad, keep enjoying yourself and most importantly, remember the dignity inherent in being an impoverished artist!
love kyra
hehehe did u catch a taxi to "a bar - just your average english bar" and was then swarmed with hot models who proceeded to take you home? hehe just kiddddding! i watch way too many movies. such a change of scene to the tropical paridises!!! are u catching up with alaya anytime? love ya heappps and miss u more.
One perfect day It's a perfect day here, cool ,misty, sunny with a hint of spring. I suppose you will feel the portents of autumn creeping in .
Oxfordshire looks very "English'. It's really kind of Benny's folks to hgave you . Hope you're washing dishes, mowing the lawn and generally being helpful (ie not leaving your beer bottles in the lounge or undies in the shower, ( joke!) )
Any chances of work yet?
Our Japanese garden at school resembles a clay pit at present with everthing waterlogged from rains and holes for ponds and rocks filled with muddy rainwater.
Kids are herenow ( i"m in my classroom , must go ! love Dad
Lunchtime in coolland Hi Chaz ,
good to see you made it to the plane and got airbourne. I presume you are at Red's digs now sleeping or recuperating from jet lag and trying to adjust to a completely different world.
All is busy ,busy, busy here. Must go love Dad
Fulham Hello love, glad you're so well and happy. My best mate lives in Fulham, let me know if you want me to give you her details if you plan on sticking around there. Good luck with the job search. Make sure you get a British bank account, it'll be impossible otherwise. Take good care. xx
Thanks for all the news,Charlie. I'm curious about the blog sent in transit.Did you send it from the plane? I still don't know if I should send emails or comments. Gail will be in UK in about a week. Hope she can catch up with you, even if its just on the phone.lots of love from OZ
Get to a hospital Your Dad is at school umpiring a Hockey carnival and got a call from Nornie who told him aboout your injury. Your dad asked me to write and pass on a few words.
1. Coral cuts - very fast infection. Spreads and grows quickly. Keeps growing inside you.
2. Have you got nodes in your groin area?
3. You will most likely need antibiotics.
4. Travel insurance should cover everything. Get RECEIPTS and get policy details from your mum.
5. You should probably shift closer to where you can get treatment.
6. You need more than just topical treatment, probably antibiotics, a cream will just get rid of the surface infection, but not the one growing inside you.
7. If you stay where you are and become imobile life will be very difficult and you may miss your plane. Move to a place where you are able to get help.
8. Do not just ignore it, go and do something about it before it gets even worse.
9. If you get a chance, call. Reverse charges if your mobile is still out of action.
10. Listen to the voice of reason and experience!!
Hope you get this message soon.
Love B
