Birthday dinner Birthday dinner sounded great. Crispy lobster and sea bass. How are the favors compared to the Thai restaurants at home. Sticky mango rice is good here, must be amazing there. Enjoy your island visits today, especially 007's hangout. It's nice to know the Ridge translated into Marriott Phuket, and it's a great room.
La Couronne Thanks for all the fun, intertaining blogs you sent out....very good
Now, you're home...soak up all your new knowledge and receipes and enjoy your past experience.
Love mom & dad
Food I'm getting hungry. I need to put my roasted chicken
in the oven. Voila.
I enjoyed this blog and photos. Now you must be home organizing your
slides. I wish you didn't live so far away.
I did try and make baguettes and they aren't the same as French ones.
We do have wonderful croissants in Bellevue....the best and just as good
as in France.
Au revoir, Aunt Suzy
Bonsoir I hope you are hearing from me. Thanks for mentioning the two Parisian
restaurants. When I was in France in the 80's I took a two hour class at
the Cordon Bleu school. I remember the demo, tomato coulis. I don't recall
if there was something else.
I know what you mean about walking everywhere and getting sore feet.
At least there weren't many tourists. I took a group in April to Paris and
it was nice. I've been to Paris at least 3 times in April.
Ciao! Aunt Suzy
too many steps I remember climbing the Astoria Tower next to all the Totem Poles in Astoria , Or....my calves hurt for a day, and I don't believe it was 387 steps; great views though......M & D
Versailles Did they talk of the mock battles on the pond with their boats of the times. We went during the summer, so all the gardens were in bloom. mom & dad
Food, food, and more food...... Was Le Cordon Bleu your favorite today. The duck and mussels looks pretty good to me. Are you having wine at each of these establishments....I always thought that all the whites tasted the same, but the reds were more destintive. Better save some more exploing for the next time you come. Are you keeping a diary of all your favorites, so when you write your book on Paris, all your memories will be shared.....mom & dad
* leg of pig, I don't know....where, knee to ankle....and I like pork.....sounds like when Matt used to get rooster feet and eat between the toes
again, another baguette type of day. Did you walk up Eiffel Tower...Montmartre District was interesting, then the Follies down below....Versai..Palace is amazing, isn\'t it....the palace itself plus the grounds....we went there on the way to Geneva, Switz many moons ago......are you walking alot for all the good food you\'ve eaten.....keep having fun!
mom & dad
Classes, food, and walking Sounds like you are learning and enjoying your time in Paris.....many good recipes to now try at home. Enjoy and create new adventures....Mom and Dad
WOWSER! I cannot even say some of the things you are eating and places you are going! lol Sounds like heaven!!! Loving these updates!!!!!!!! Feel like I am there!
Paris, day 1....blog Wish we were there too. Good to hear you had a good flight, lunch, and a decent meal....5 out of 10; must have been a tough steak. Lamb, I like, but don't have very often. Was it Rack of Lamb, or a shank. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Enjoyed your blog...... and pictures!.....mom and dad
Hi Erin and Matt--Thank you for including me on your trip. I have loved every minute. Have only been to Hamburg, Germany. Your pictures are fantastic and the blogs are like reading a good book. I can cross out Germany off my bucket list. You are great travel guides. Blessings--Gig
Everyone should visit Salzburg - and there is sooo much more to see...... One can easily enjoy 2 days in Salzburg the city and several days or a week exploring the province of Salzburg.
The Christmas Markets in Salzburg are also worth seeing
and a special time of year to visit !
We found this site and their itineraries to be amazingly helpful www.guideyourselftours.com

and St. Petersburg next year. Our church is going on a mission
there in May. I'm not sure I will do that. I would rather just go on tour and skip going into the countryside and seeing no
museums.
Thanks Hi Matt & Erin,
Thanks for wonderful photographs. I am intending to visit Egypt soon & much excited too.
The Mural photographs you have clicked are really nice. Compliments.....

Together since 1999, we have shared a passion for traveling and seeing the world since day one. We have been so fortunate to visit the countries that we have. Each experience has changed our lives in a little way. We have developed such an appreciation for culture, art, food, language, and beauty. We look forward to many more years of travel!
