St Louie Chris - Your Mother and I stood at the exact same place in the Arch in 1971 when we went through ST. Louis. It was in April, so the weather was a little warmer. And you got to Ozzie's. Great. I don't remember seeing the gold gloves. Liked your photos. Have a safe trip home. Dad
Pictures Chris - like you said, the photos did finally appear. Very nice, especially the one at the end with the trees, street lamp, and pristine snow on the sidewalk. Mom
Brrrrrr! Wow, it sounds pretty cold back there!!!---right now California is experiencing warm spring weather---in the low 70's----I knew there was a reason I'm a California native!!! Didn't enjoy your pictures as much this time, Chris----mainly because none of them came through----just a lot of black boxes with descriptions under them! Maybe you can fix that so we can all see the latest pictures of your travel adventures! Drive safely on your trip home.
Love, Mom
Trip Bone Daddy's - in your wildest dreams! Maybe me, though. (I say this as your Mom is drying her hair). Really enjoying your photos - we also liked the Landry's photo. Glad you are having a good time. If you have the chance to go to Ozzie's, let me know. It was owned by Ozzie Smith - we went there many moons ago on a business trip. Food was pretty good. Weather supposed to warm up here today - we'll see. Say hi to Paul and Matt for us. Dad.
Whats the dill.......You knw the rest. Muhahahahah Yo mang congrats on the trip. Wish I could have joined you in your journey across this planetary planet of ours. Butt as luck would have it, I was too busy counting the cracks in the sidewalk out front. There are six-hudred and forty-cracks out there! And all of various sizes, who would have guessed. Butt all seriousness aside, glad to see you made it out there ok. Tell the foolios that I said hello. And don't forget to take Matt to Fast Eddys for some killer grubs mang. Lates for now.

3000 miles---That's quite a trip, and you're not even back yet. And 100,00 miles for your little Black Box---"it takes a licking, and keeps on ticking", or at least, it keeps on rolling along!! Maybe you should hold on to that one!! It looks pretty darn cold back there---glad it's you and not me!---I'll take California weather anyday, even if it is only in the 50's. Still enjoying all the pics.
Thanks for the trip updates~! Hello Chris hope all is well and maybe after you are out of texas there might be something open for you. Having been through St Louis myself I found or thought it was a dirty city. When you head back to CA make sure you get on 70W and go through Colorado and then you'll be in heaven. When you hit 15 you could go north up to Salt Lake City to catch 80W. Salt Lake City this time of year is beautiful, or you could catch 15S and travel down into Arizona and check out the north rim of the Grand Canyon now thats a site also on the way to the Grand Canyon is Zion National Park but anyways you wont go wrong with comming back on 70W. Beamer and Blue say hi. Have a good one....... Roby
Your adventure! Hey Chris,
Good for you, taking this adventure! Thanks for letting me in on your travel blog, and please say hi to the group from me! Hope every mile is safe, talk to you soon!
Love, Julie
Pictures and more Hey, Sis. Glad you and your class have been enjoying the blog. Not sure about the plane, will have to check when I get a chance. and Whataburgers are sooooo goooooood.
Pictures and more.. Hey, I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed the pictures. I have been sharing the aquarium and aviation pictures with my class. They love them! Most of them were shocked that there was an animal named the sea cow. Another student of mine, who is big into anything military, was wondering what plane that is in the background of the F-16 picture. Any idea?
I hope you at least went to the Fort Worth Stockyards - that should have been open.
And I am very unhappy to see that my own brother has crossed the dark side to become Whataburger fan. Too depressing...
Texas Son -
Tomorrow I will also be in the Great State of Texas, although a few miles West of you in Amarillo. Have a project out there, actually about 60 miles north where there are miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles. Sorry about your experiences in Dallas - maybe St Louie will be better. The Space and Flight Museum sounds pretty interesting. Your Mother has now caught what I had over the weekend. She's feeling pretty bad. Weather here is still cold and windy - frost on the roofs last night, but at least no rain. Will possibly go to Boulder Creek this weekend - we'll see.
Dad
Dallas Chris-
First of all, Giants 17 Patriots 14. Yeah! Great game!
Sorry about Dallas being closed. I was also at the 6th Floor Museum a number of years ago again on a Business Conference but don't remember seeing all that you did. How long are you going to be there? Say hi to Ronn for us. All is ok here, except for a cold I picked up last week. Have not been outside all day. Weather is cold and rainy. Heard you called Mom and temp is in the high 70's there. Nice.
Dad
To finish what I was saying, I especially liked the pictures of the fountain. It looks pretty there. ---Just got your call, and enjoyed talking to you. Hope you have better luck today in seeing the sights of Dallas. (I don't know if you got the first half of this comment, because I never submitted it properly, but I was just saying that I may never get to some of these cities, so it's fun to see your photos).
Anniversary Chris -
Thanks for your comments on our Anniversary. I wish Dad had been here - was lonely without him. He said he sent me flowers but due to some mixup, they never arrived.
Trip Chris -
Just got back from a week in South Carolina. Couldn't check personal email with laptop. We're enjoying your travel blog on your trip. Sad to see quarters at Ft Bliss torn down. My company had a Sales meeting at a hotel on the Riverwalk several years ago, and I really enjoyed it. Did you see the IMAX movie on the Battle of the Alamo next to the Memorial?
Alamo Chris -
My company had a Sales Meeting at a hotel on the Riverwalk several years ago, and I also thought it was a great place. The Alamo memorial to me was very sobering. Did you take in the IMAX next door about the battle?
Sup Bro.... Looks like your in good hands and having fun.......... see all you can see now and who knows the next time you get to do this.......
Your roomie and care giver to beamer......

Texas Hey, make sure you head down to San Antone and to the Riverwalk (the Alamo is right there too). Also, if you have time, New Braunfels and Gruene are cute little towns on the way to S.A. Also, Fredricksburg is a cute little town about 45 minutes west of Austin out in the hill country. Its a little German town with tons of small stores.
