you taught me something This is sad I'm a poli Sci major who is so completely wrapped up in her own life to even know what is going on around her. I learned things about the U.S. from your blog. Funny!
shocked more hookah? well I'm not THAT surprised but I'm glad you've found another home. don't stay away forever!
poor dog! you never saw it again?
so, i assume you'll be making your way to brazil and then oregon...
have fun and stay in one piece!
near death gives perspective I've been so frustrated with the dancers in portland that I've been thinking of quiting tango myself. That and my girlfriend hates dancing with me, so another strong motivator to quit. The dancers here (Portland) are so full of regional idiocincricies that you can't do anything with them. Lot's of "if the leader does this, the next three steps are this and the timing is this" types of things. Bullshit. It's tango not ballroom. Anyway a car came into my lane on the freeway, I swerved to avoid and found myself spinning (donuts anyone?) off the freeway at 70 miles per hour, and as well as realizing that I do not have, and cannot afford health insurance I also realized that I was being silly on the whole tango thing. They can be snobby little brats if they want to. I'm going to go and have a good time.
As soon as my back is a little better anyway...
I miss you I've had the most boring spring break ever and I'm so jealous of your adventures. I am now officially living through you and you will need to make me broaden my horizons once youir home. I miss you be safe and come home in one piece I need a roomie! I LOVE YOU!!!
and yet no tango? You've lived quite a life haven't you? ;-) Just wishing you well from the rainy lands to the north. It's what? Fall there? Late summer? Anyway, awesome that you're keeping us up to date. Keep'em coming.
