Last stop! Finally back to reality and there was plenty of rain here just to break me in gently for home. Some say Macau is the Vegas of Asia. Not a chance, nothing can compare to that place! They did have one record breaking experiance thow: The highest bungy jump in the world! 233M off a skyscrapper, it was the only way to finish off a trip like this i suppose. So waht have i learn't in the last 5 months? That were here for a good time, not a long time! ... read more

Wholly hell, what an experiance. Spent News Year's Eve here with some mates from england and had the party of a lifetime! Havn't got any photo's of it yet unfortunately but here are the one's of the zoo which was pretty good anyway. Got to do something i have always wanted to, held a tiger.... read more

I only stayed here for a few days but it was still good. There is loads to do here and it is really cheap. Tried out some of my surfing skills and got a moped for the day (which i managed to fall off) to see as much of the beautiful island as i could. It was a bit tuch and go on the bike in Kuta, those people are crazy and there are no rules. Managed to get to a few temples and found more than a few rice fileds to photograph. However i don't have any photo's yet as i am having trouble with getting them off my memory card.... read more

This is where i stayed at xmas, Kapali dive resort. It was absolutely amazing!!! Did 4 dives a day, got my advanced open water certificate and got to see a few dozen turtles and sharks on every dive, not to mention the millions of fish and gorgeous colourful reef. The water was 600m deep around sipidan island, not that i went that deep but it was still a great experiance not being able to see the bottom. ... read more

Tonight i will stay in Kota Kinabalu and the hostel here is a bit run down to say the least but it's only £2.50 a night so who cares. This place is really poverty stricen and a little intimidating. Tomorrow though i set off to climb Mount Kinabalu, which is 4,100m high. Im looking forward to it although im told it is a very tough climb but im sure im up for the challange, it's deffenately something different to anything else i have done. I will stop over the night at a lodge about 3/4 of the way up then get up at 2am the next morning to make it to the summit before getting back down to rest my legs some natural hot springs! After this i go over to the Sepilok Orangutang sanctury before ... read more

I got to here by bus and it was like being in first class on a plane, you could lay down and everyone had a playstation each and it only cost me £11. Again it was a little wired being amoungst the minority, here it is a little scarey and intimerdating too. Most of the city is a bit of a slum with just the big hotels and shopping centres seeming safe. As a result i have managed to get a few nights in the upper class Shangri-La hotel for a meer £23 a night! The Patronus Towers are huge and im doing the bridge walk tomorrow.... read more

December 12th 2007

This was a bit of a culture shock, im not used to being amoungst the minority and i certainly was. Think i saw three white people in 3 days. The main nationality is chineese which wasn't a bad think cause it meant there was plenty of places to get my favourate food from! The zoo was great and it was worth it just to see the white tigers. If you like shopping Singapore is the place to go. There is about 50 shopping malls and there are huge, i got lost in one and it took me about half an hour to find my way out. Also went on a tour on the 'Duck', which is basically a bus that turns into a boat. It's a nice clean place but not much to do and a ... read more

Just another big city really, go see all the sites and spend a lot of money. Suppose the Opera House looks pretty spectacular when it's lit up at night and Telstra stadium is worth a visit too. Beckem played there the week before with LA Galaxy when they got there arses kicked. Went to Bondi but it was a crappy day so didn't even go in the sea. Bumped into Adam Scott from cas, it's a small world and had a couple of messy nights out. Not much else to say really, i guess im just used to cities now, there all pretty much the same and i prefer to be where it's a little less built up. On to Singapore next and then who knows, will keep this upto date from now on though so ... read more
