Happy New Year to you Rebecca!!! What fun to see and hear about the world through you! I don't think the guy/girl ratio is too bad! We love you and pray for your safety! The Bertrand's
how exciting Hey Bec, this whole thing looks great and so exciting. What a experience for you. Makes me wish I was young. In case you haven't heard Nate and Deb had their baby Annabella she is beautiful and Deb did it with no drugs, she was great. Now I'm waiting for Jer and Sas to have their 2nd child that will be 3 grandchildren for me. How neat. Can't wait to hear about your whole trip and to tell me where I should go and see. God Bless you and be with you. Love Teri Perky
i wish i could have stayed around and battled gramenator. would have been fun. so great hanging out in Chiang Mai. Look forward to seeing your continued travels, especially in India. Doc
so i had some catching up to do on your blog, it was fun reading the actual blog about some of the stories we heard. i think my favorite was about your hike up the mountain with the screeching deer. i might have to stop reading though or i'll end up quitting my job and jumping on a plane to asia to go couchsurfing :)
Let's take bikes! Diamondback and Mongoose are gonna be jealous when they hear about the bike tour! I'll try to not say anything when Diamondback is around. He really misses going on rides.
Funny stuff You make me laugh! Your experience with the paintballing sounds so fun and exciting. I have never done that for the same reason you haven't. Sores and bleeding doesn't sound so fun in the end, but reading about your experience made me chuckle out loud. Thank you cuz I needed that! Glad you are still having fun and its great that you keep running into people you guys know. That is truly God working in your favor. Keep up the blogs and no they don't come too often! Love you lots, Ry
It was so great hanging out with you in Chiang Mai, and meeting Dallas. This is your trip of a lifetime and you're certainly making the most of it. Your comments are so refreshing. Keep them coming. Talk with you soon.
Doc
Hi Well I'm really intent on traveling in the next year or two and so I was checking out travel blogs to get a kind of vicarious idea of what to expect and to hold me over until I start my own travels. I found your blog and I've been reading it for a while now and it's just so awesome to read about what you're going through from a christian perspective. It's really cool to hear that God is working in your life and other's lives through you as you trot the globe and meet new people. I just wanted to let you know that I really like your blogs and that you're in my prayers :) Good luck and happy travels!
Tripping old lady's!! I was so glad to know that you and dallas are back to traveling together again! It seems like you guys are having such an interesting experience. I'm happy to know that your chirstmas went well. I absolutely LOVED the part in this blog where you mentioned dallas haggeling the old woman and then threw in it being the equivelent of him tripping the old woman at disney world, I literally cracked up!! I have to say, I'm surprised he told you about that! That has been something that he has been ridicouled about constantly from our family! Well, i hope that you guys continue to have a safe and wonderful trip. If you get a chance can you have dallas e-mail me about the possibility of me going out to Italy to meet you guys and when and where. I'm sure he would be amazed to know that I am seriously looking into it! Thanks again for keeping us all up to date on what you all are up to.
prayer I love that you met friends from home so far away!! God really works in mysterious ways :) I have you in my prayers and hope your travels continue to be fullfilling.
Your mention of being RUDE to people I found this paragraph very enlightening. So much I called Ben right over to read it with me. Your comments on how spending so much time with someone can change how you treat them is so true. And honestly this is how you need to view marriage. Even now sometimes Ben and I don't treat eachother with the best of respects and let me tell you we have to catch ourselves and put our hearts back in the right place many times. So I am so thankful for your thoughts because they spoke to us and it is a great reminder that we do need to treat our loved ones with more love, kindness and humility than how we treat strangers. Because sometimes we treat complete strangers better than we treat those we love and cherish the most. Thank you for mentioning me in your blog too! I felt so special! =)
I got our wedding pics back too and they are very cute. I can't wait to show them to you. I love you and miss you tons. Oh....and also, I was cleaning out my garage this week and I found some pics of you when I was graduating 8th grade. They are very funny and uncle Jerry has these very large glasses on and you.....you are once again wearing a jumper thing that is all tie die colored. Gotta LOVE the 80's.
Love you lots and take care and becareful! Love you, RY

A Becky Grumpy is better than most Hey Becky:
Boy you are running the full gammit of experiences and emotions. I don't remember you being grumpy on our trip to Europe, but I was only with you for 2 weeks. Apparently at a month, you hit your stide! HAHAHA. Remember to own what you say and do, and then repent and ask for forgiveness. Have a great time in Thailand. God love you girl!

I just graduated college and I started my job last May as a firefighter for the US Forest Service...so much fun, but not my ultimate career choice. The Lord has provided the time and money for me to travel this winter and I am taking full advantage of that! I will leave November 20 and arrive home March 17, 2007. Most of the time will be spent in South East Asia, India, and Europe. I have never travelled like this before and I have absolutely no idea what to expect. It makes me a tad nervous, but I am thrilled and thankful for the opportunity. I can't wait for the unexpected, the awkward momen... full info
