From the Breadbasket to the Bayou!

1,200 miles from Lincoln, Nebraska to New Orleans, Louisiana....on a scooter!!! I take to the asphalt in seven days and I'm very excited. It's been a rough four months leading up to this trip. In late February I had my shoulder reconstructed due to a torn rotator cuff. My upward mobility still isn't great but I can extend my arms just fine. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make this trip but my doctor gave me the go-ahead so here I am, seven days before my trip and we're planning the route, getting our scoots ready and making sure we have the appropriate gear. Once we get to NOLA, we'll spend three days at Amerivespa with Vespa owners from all over the country - about 4,500! I've been looking forward to this trip for almost a year. I'm excited that the time is here. Amerivespa or bust!
