more demands... Hi Brad, it's me, the german guy... If someone demands to include the word uzzo (supposedly a bad written version of Ouzo) in your journal, then you could aswell include my name! ;-) Just kidding...
Anyway... I spend the sunday alone in Rhodes, Old Town. I actually found that hostel you stayed in, but I had not the time to search for Mad Mike. Instead I was told by some strange greek guy how much he loved germany and our "system" ("all people smile and have money"), that was weird....
It's now my last evening in Greece, I will probably only go for a short visit in the Hotel bar, maybe there will be some interesting people there.
Good luck on your journey and it's been really nice to meet you! I hope you had no trouble on those ferries, I read that the ferry captains are traditionally unfriendly and the boats are actually quite dangerous...
Gute Reise! ;-)

this is too long DOOD!!! Keep it short, took me almost 20 minutes to read it all.... Split it into a few short stories next time. ;)
Your story sounds cool; it seems that you had a good time there. Have fun in Turkey, again, don't go to Iraqi!!! Resist the temptation. But if you do, could you bring us back some gas? rediculous expensive here now, although I don't really need it.
Peace out!

presentation Hi Brad,
In 2000, the greeks completed renovation of all major tourist attractions. Lucky you for seeing Athens post-expensive modern repair. If you haven't had a shot of Uzzo, you haven't been to Greece. I demand the word Uzzo show up in your blog.
Did you present on behalf of UBC? Also, do you have any video of your practice sessions near the pool? And what makes a backpacker really cool?
Nyd livet!
good luck Yo - good luck with the conference dude. if you get nervous picture everone doing "the brain". i recommend teaching mike some raps you picked up while being raised in the ghetto... GOTTA CHANGE EM!
So just for your information, if you happen to meet any 2000 year old greeks, you can greet them by saying "xaire!" or if you want to know how they are, you can say "pws exeis?" or... if you want to call them an evil sausage seller, you can say "kakos allantopwlees ei!" i'm sure that will all be very usefull. happy travels!
London is worse! We Sushi lovers take it for granted here...when I use to live in London munching down Sushi is a 'big cool thing' to do...its about 8 quid for 6 unfancy pieces...yea about $19 CAD...FAKKK!

I am speaking for everyone here, B-rad. Please give a good try to run into the filed naked (or with our coconut bra) when you watch the game! That would be awesome!
Have fun, dood!

Cheers, Joan
