hello, well we walked up 343 steps in a spiral to the top of the highest tower of stephansdom. then went to the Manner chocolate shop and then to an ice cream shop that was the size of a closet i got strawberry and chocolate. then we came home and here i sit, i need to do English homework tonight and some more math. tomorrow we are going to schloss schönbrunn and i will try to take lots of pictures, i did today. :) there are lots of street artists in vienna, i just knowticed that today. one more weekend and i can't wait to go out and party with everyone! i will miss everyone so much! i kinda wish i could stay here forever! :D but i also miss everyone back home alot too, you ... read more

hi eveyone! sorry but not much to report the last week or so. two weeks left and i am starting to get sad about leaving! but i am also excited to bring Babsi back with me and have her live with us, i am going to have a sister! but i will miss everyone here so much. Babsi pierced her ear by her self which is awesome! her mom found out but she was ok after being upset. i am going to get my second piercings in when i get back. this weekend we aren't going out but we are supposed to go to this castle called Schloss Schönbrun so that should be fun. been doing alot of math homework and home work for here i guess they saved all of it for the end of ... read more

Last night we preformed our plays for the first time. it went well i play an American tourist who flirts with this man named Novak. tonight we are preforming it again. it is fun and i do my part perfectly! ;) then me and some friends went out to a restaurnt and got something to drink. then we went home and i slept in till like 12. the teachers just say i should stay home all week so i am not too tired or get another cold... hey that is fine with me! ;D i love the work ethic here, cuz there isn't one. it is like a vacation! :) wich i think i deserve i do so much school work at home it is kinda sad :P today i went for a walk and went ... read more

hello i know i haven't written in awhile but i don't think you have missed anything that exciting! this past weekend i got a really bad cold that had me bed ridden for two and a half days, and i slept for like 14 hours one day, then i burned my tongue on some hot tea and now i can't taste anything and everything feels like butter in my mouth! ewww! anyway i took a hot bath today and listened to lots of beatles music so i am feeling better today just a little hung over from too much sleep. i tried to post a video of me skiing but i don't think it worked, i will try again, but it is posted on facebook, along with tons of other pictures. here on travelblog though everything ... read more

hello, yes this morning i got on my computer and saw that my favorite Youtube-ist posted a new video, about how big record lables are "rubbish" that was a good funny morning. then went to school and durring mainlesson, we are working on the different structures, we had a sheet of paper with a list of words and they were the last words of each line of some poem. the purpouse was that the endings of each word were similar to either the next word or another in that stanza, so the endings would go (a,a,b,b. or a,b,a,b. or a,b,b,a...) so like imagine a= -ing (counting) and b= -ill (still) so a stanza would be like: ...- counting (a) ...- still (b) ...- walking (a) ...- mill (b) haha sorry i know i REALY explained that ... read more

hello on friday me, Jakob, Astrid and her mother, Claudia, went to a town in Austria called Hallstatt. we were going to stay at Babsi's aunt's cottage but when we got there it had been so cold that all the plumbing was frozen so we had no running water. the next day we had a plumber come but he didn't know where the water fed into the house and neither did the county people so they could not fix it then. me and Astrid went to the town and she gave me a tour and i ate merinque dipped in chocolate that was really sweet! after we were done sight seeing we drove home because we couldn't take showers and had no water. but what i did do was fun! today, Sunday, me, Babsi, Jakob and ... read more

hello not much happened today but i did have fun in school it is so funny! i am even in on a privet joke with some people "ich bin kein Hund!" haha it means "i am not a dog!" haha it has to do with a play we are in. after school some of our friends and Babsi and me went to see "the Vow" in the theater, i didn't really understand it but i still got what the plot was, kinda, i will want to see it again when i come back in English but it was fun. my one on one conversation is getting way better but groups, especially teenagers, are really hard. tomorrow i leave for a vacation with babsi's brother and his girlfriend to a small city in the country i think? ... read more
